(word rec’d 7-23-21, dream rec’d 12-15-20)

My brothers and sisters in Christ, I received one word from the Holy Spirit in the early morning hours of Friday, July 23, 2021. The word was ‘TOBRUK’. I know this was given to me for a reason but try as I might, I could not discern its significance. I probably spent 2 or 3 hours that day doing research on anything associated with Tobruk . . . reading about the city itself (located in Libya) and the part that area played in World War II. In all my reading, the Holy Spirit did not prick my heart and let me know that I had found what I was intended to find. I just filed this word away in my journal, trusting whatever truth I was to find would be revealed in God’s own time.

This morning that ‘word’ was brought to my remembrance. Always seeking to be obedient, I decided to look up ‘Tobruk in the news.’ In doing so, I found an article about a police horse named ‘Tobruk’ who was punched in the face by a man who was taking part in an anti-lockdown protest in Australia. What caught my immediate attention was the date of the protest . . . Saturday, July 24, 2021, the following day after I had received the single word ‘Tobruk.’ Could this be mere chance?

After reading this article, I was reminded of a short but very vivid dream I had on December 15, 2020, which I titled ‘War Horse” because it made me think of the movie of the same title. In that dream I saw a very muscular and fierce looking war horse pawing the ground and snorting what looked like steam from his nostrils (possibly due to winter cold ???). A battle was about to ensue and the horse seemed anxious to move forward, to do what he was trained to do. However, he was being restrained by the reins held by his rider. In the dream it was dark and there were lighted torches held up in the hands of riders on horses in the midst of a great and mighty army.
At the moment, all I have to share is a lot of puzzle pieces, but I believe this word is a warning of war. Not just any war, but possibly the Ezekiel 38 & 39 war when Israel’s enemies come against her. Some of the puzzle pieces are:

Puzzle Piece #1: The city of Tobruk is located in Libya which will be a confederate in that war.

Ez. 38:3-6: “And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: 4) And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: 5) Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: 6) Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.”

Puzzle Piece #2: There is a ‘military’ connection between ‘Tobruk’ and Australia.

One of the primary forces which held the line in WW2 to keep Tobruk from falling into the hands of the Axis powers were from Australia. The incident which happened to the horse named ‘Tobruk’ from the article I was led to read this morning occurred in Australia. I am not sure yet how that puzzle piece fits. I just know that many of my previous revelations have, on more than one occasion, referenced military campaigns from various wars.

Puzzle Piece #3: My dream about the war horse.

Is it possible that what I saw in my dream in December was a great army assembled and ready to ride against Israel? Was God’s restraining hand keeping the war horse at bay until His perfect timing? Here are the scriptures from

Ezekiel 38:15-16: “And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: 16) And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.”

I am by no means saying this is a “Thus saith the Lord” message. I have learned that is usually not the way He speaks to me. I get PUZZLES! I am just submitting these puzzle pieces to you because I feel the Lord has laid it on my heart to do so. Perhaps He has given the remaining puzzle pieces to others of His prophets who may be able to make more sense out of all of this. I will leave the interpretation to the Holy Spirit. May He grant understanding to whom He will.

Yours for the Harvest,
Averine
