Amos 3:3 (KJV) “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” 1 Corinthians 12:14–20, 25–26 (KJV) 14 For the body is not one member, but many. 15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? 18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. 19 And if they were all one member, where were the body? 20 But now are they many members, yet but one body. 25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. Colossians 3:14 (KJV) And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.” 1 Peter 3:8 (KJV) “Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:” Philippians 2:2 (KJV) “Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind:”
After I had typed the scriptures and had a very brief conversation about this with a believer, I felt God had more to say. And He does.
Children, I love you so much way beyond your capacity to understand. Draw near to Me. Your true peace is through the Cross. Do not take your eye off of it. Hold fast to the promises I’ve made to you.
Stop allowing disagreements to interfere with your relationships. Life is not all about politics or one horse challenges, what I mean is do not let one thing stop you from loving or fellowshipping with someone because they don’t have your opinions. If you disagree why don’t you ask me to open that person’s eyes to truth? Maybe they are already praying the same thing for you!? Perhaps, they can learn patience by dealing with you…and you can learn that same lesson with them. There are important things and there are the not so important things (let them off the hook regarding these). Love them, like Jesus does. Amos 3:3. If you are united in Christ with this person, then agree to disagree on other matters. Ephesians 4
