You’re not a fleeting thought, an afterthought.  You’re on my mind day and night.  The crevasses of time are filled with you.  I wake to find you there, once again, nurturing and tending to my senses.

Give me strength to fully find you in this decaying world.  Wake my senses to be fully keen to your presence.  Give me strength in this dying world.  I wait for you to complete me, to mold me and fine tune me.  I watch as each year comes into the next.  I patiently wait for your return, still not understanding the full implications of what it will fully mean.  My soul is yours, as I move forward to the place you have reserved for me.  I take precautions to stay in the light and avoid all darkness.  I maneuver myself through your words to get to know you intimately. You are there to catch me when I fall.  You are there to guide me when I step off the path.  You show me visions and dreams of what will be, to warn me and your other children, those who will listen.  You are my Father, my friend, my God.  There is no one who cares for me like you.  I appreciate you and will follow you till the end of my journey.
