The Netherlands: Planted by Rivers of Living Water

Today, on the second day of the Feast of Tabernacles, also known as the Feast of Nations, I found myself in the Dutch city of Maastricht.

During a moment of rest, I sat down beside a stone. In front of me was a lake and a river, and beside the river stood a willow tree, one of the four species used during the Feast of Tabernacles.

The Lord commanded His people to take these four species and rejoice before Him:

Leviticus 23:40

As I looked at the willow tree, I felt led to pray for the land of the Netherlands.

“Netherlands, you are like a willow tree planted beside rivers of living water. May you remain green and fruitful in every season, for the glory and honor of the Eternal One, in these days and in the days to come, until the Messiah establishes His Kingdom upon this Earth .

I pray that the Netherlands will be among the nations that will be saved and that will bring their glory and honor into the Holy City, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Amen.
