Deliverance Intercessory Prayer
Heavenly Father, We bring before You and The Lord Jesus Christ one who is very dear to You and to us [lost souls]. We have come to see that Satan is blinding and binding [them] in awful bondage. [They] are in such a condition that cannot or will not come to help on [their] own. We stand in for them in Intercessory prayer before your throne. We draw upon the Holy Spirit to guide us to pray in wisdom, power, and understanding.
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, strengthened by our intercession, We humbly ask you Heavenly Father to loose [them] from the awful bondage the powers of darkness are putting upon [them]; and to bind all powers of darkness set on destroying [their] lives, binding them aside in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and forbidding them to work. Father, bind up all the powers of depression that are seeking to cut [them] off and imprison [them] in a tomb of despondency. Bind up all the powers of delusion that are seeking to blind [them] and keep them from knowing the Truth and the Will You have for [them]. [Pause and name all specific spirits such as: Deaf, dumb and blind spirit, witchcraft, rebellion, heaviness, rejection and abandonment, pride, fear, Jezebel, Python, addiction, and any others that you feel are coming against them].
We bring in prayer the focus of the work of the Lord Jesus Christ directly upon [them] to [ their] strengthening and help. We bring the Mighty Power of Our Lords Incarnation, Crucifixion, Resurrection, Ascension, and Glorification directly against all forces of darkness seeking to destroy [them]. We ask the Holy Spirit to apply all of the mighty work of the Lord Jesus Christ directly against all forces of darkness seeking to destroy [them].
We pray Heavenly Father, that You may open [their] eyes of understanding. Remove all blindness and spiritual deafness from [their] hearts. Comfort and still all emotions and thoughts of fear and hesitation. We plead your mercy over [their] lives which [they] had unknowingly given to Satan by believing the enemy’s deception. We claim all of [ their] lives United together in obedient love and service to the Lord Jesus Christ. May the Spirit of the Living God focus his mighty work upon [them].
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we resist all of Satan’s activity to hold [them] in blindness and darkness. Exercising our authority that is given to us in union with the Lord Jesus Christ. We ask You Lord to pull down the strongholds which the kingdom of darkness has formed against [them] and to smash and break and destroy all those plans formed against [their] mind, [their] will, [their] emotions, and [ their] bodies. Destroy O Lord the spiritual blindness and deafness that Satan keeps upon [them]. We invite the Holy Spirit of the Most High God to bring to fullness of His Power to convict, to bring to repentance, and to lead [them] into faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and to bring them to the foot of the Cross.
Father, please break Satan’s power to blind [them] to the Truth of the Most High God. Believing that Your Holy Spirit is leading us, We claim [ them] for You in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and we thank you for the answer to our prayers. Grant us the grace to be persistent and faithful in our intercession for [them], that You are glorified thru this deliverance. We ask for Your Will to be done, in Jesus Christ’s Mighty Name. Amen.
