WE MUST FIGHT! – Ruth Johnson

WE MUST FIGHT!

To a man to a woman
WE MUST FIGHT!
But not with each other,
That is not right.
There is an enemy,
His name is Satan-nail,
We must fight him,
He will not prevail,
BUT WE MUST FIGHT!
We are the ancestors
Tainted and flawed
Passed down from our first
parents.
He is the Answer,
The Creator of us all,
We are His Heir apparents,
But not us all.
Many will not hear
The reading of the Will,
When all is said and done,
The Book of Life will be written
And sealed
And will not be undone.
Many there will be
Who will be surprised,
Many will there be
Who will be confused
Right when they realize
They are yesterday’s news.
A story on a doorstep,
Windblown down the street,
They did not make it in The Book
That would have kept them
On their feet.
This is the way, my Lord,
Of every generation,
Some make it in The Book,
Most perish with their nation.
But this particular cycle
Is slowly winding down,
What goes around comes around
At least it has ’til now.
History repeats itself
But that by no means means
That can never change.
The One Who makes the Rules
The One Who started it All
Is going to step in
And pick up the ball.
He will come from Heaven,
Knock out the seven,
Judge the crowd
And all the players,
The vendors, admen,
Moneychangers.
It will be a bloodbath
And we must be on
The winning team
Do not change horses
In the middle of the stream!
Remember!
WE MUST FIGHT!

Hallelujah!
