“THE HEAT IS GOING TO BE TURNED UP”

Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. 36 Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. 37 They were stoned, they were sawn in two, [k]were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented— 38 of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth.39 And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, 40 God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us. Hebrews 11
“For you were chosen as my own, says the Lord. You were chosen as a people who would rise in these last days. You were chosen to speak the very words of God. You were chosen to do things that were great in the eyes of your king. But now I see that you have shrunk back, and fallen into fear because the world hates you.
Have I not said that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Were those who came before you afraid to stand up for Me? For they were thrown into prison, they were mocked and beaten, and some were burned alive. And now in these last days, I tell you that the heat will be turned up. You think that your trials have been difficult up until this point, just wait when the world around you turns their back on you.
But is it better for the world to turn its back on you or Me? For it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of a God of judgment. For this world is racing towards judgment, and this entire nation will feel the blunt force as my hand rocks this world back and forth. For your great monetary system will fail. Your dollar will lose its value. Those who have invested millions will lose all their money in one day.
I have told you about these things in my word. I have prepared you and sent you prophets who would speak the truth about these days, but many of you have chosen rather to hear the words of those who would speak pleasing words instead. ”
