Resurrection Love

Today’s the day the “world” celebrates love.
They buy pricey cards, and expensive flowers (that wither and disappear)
-but we rest in our Bridegroom, who’s not distant- but near!
A beautiful Dove- descended upon Him with power and grace.
To walk sinless and majestic, for He took our place!
He conquered death, Hades, and the effects of all sin.
To those who know Him as “First Love”, it IS a huge win!
Every day is “resurrection Love Day”, for He ascended in power!
Yet (sadly) those on the broad path say: “it’s not His hour!”
Fill your lamps with His oil and be watchful and pray,
and you’ll enter His chambers (around midnight), on that special day!
We are now known by our love for each other; what a transformation story!
May they see Him in us; but HE alone gets the glory!
