CONCERNING THE ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED DOCTRINE (OSAS)

2 TIMOTHY 4:1-4
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall
judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke,
exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but
after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having
itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned
unto fables.

HEAR WHAT THE LORD SAYS…

They have given themselves over to the tickling of their ears. Yes, you
heard right. They are inclining their hearing to what tickles their ears.
To what strikes their fancy. They are like gadflies, flitting about here
and there with no substance to their faith. They are a people who must
have their gratification. They have no discernment because they are intent
on being led by their own understanding and are zealous for their own
ways.

And what do I say to them. SO BE IT! If they will not listen, SO BE IT!

How few of My children bother to read My Word for themselves. Most would
rather look for and latch onto the doctrine of others that agrees with
their own thinking and that which appeases their self-indulgent appetites
and makes them feel good. This is the way of the world. It has no place in
Me; nor shall have. What does this mean? Does this mean that I am
rejecting My children. On the contrary. This means that those who profess
to believe in Me, who call themselves by My name, but who continue to live
their lives according to their own thoughts and ways will find themselves
left behind when I come for My Bride. They will all too late come to
realize that their self-gratifying ways and lack of understanding have
resulted in their not be ready for My return. They will discover through
the shocking realization that their stiff-necked pride of self and
reliance upon another’s teaching has led them astray. They will have to
endure the Tribulation all because they were intent on believing false
doctrine and going their own way. Does not My Word say, “My people perish
for lack of understanding.”(Hosea 4:6)

Nowhere in My Word does it say ‘once saved always saved’. Where is this
statement in My Word? I never spoke it. I cannot find it.

WHAT IS MY DESIRE AND THE DESIRE OF MY FATHER IS THAT NO ONE
PERISH. (1Peter 3:9) But it is our desire; We cannot make it be so. It is
a gift freely given. The choice is up to each person. Therefore, choose
this day whom you will serve. GOD, or your own ways or the ways of
another. (Joshua 24:14-15) Life and death have been set before you. Choose
life that you may live and your children after you. (Deuteronomy 30:15-20)

COME, LET US TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT MY WORD DOES SAY…

ROMANS 8:38-39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor
height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us
from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

*MY FATHER AND I WILL NEVER STOP LOVING YOU EVEN IF YOU CHOOSE YOUR OWN
WAY OR THE WAY OF ANOTHER.

JOHN 10:25-29
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do
in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.
26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither
shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able
to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
30 I and my Father are one.

*THIS DOES NOT SAY THAT THEY CANNOT FOOLISHLY LEAVE THE SANCTITY AND
SAFETY OF MY LIFE AND HAND BY GOING THEIR OWN WAY. Every WORD of My Word
is valuable and essential to your lives here on earth and to the
well-being of your lives.

2 THESSALONIANS 2:1-3
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and
by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit,
nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at
hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except
there come a falling away first,”

*WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE ‘a falling away first’? It is referring to
BELIEVERS who have turned away from ME. The ‘once saved always saved’
(OSAS) is clearly refuted here. Let him who has ears, hear.(Matthew 13:9)

LUKE 8: 11-15
THE PARABLE OF THE SOWER EXPLAINED
11 “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those by
the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the
word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13 But
the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with
joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of
temptation fall away. 14 Now the ones that fell among thorns are those
who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and
pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. 15 But the ones that
fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble
and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.

*NOT EVERYONE WHO SAYS THEY BELIEVE REMAINS IN ME.

2 PETER 3:10-18
THE DAY OF THE LORD
10″But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the
heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with
fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned
up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of
persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and
hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will
be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a
new earth in which righteousness dwells.”
BE STEADFAST
14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be
found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15 and consider that
the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother
Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also
in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some
things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to
their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures. 17 You
therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also
fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the
wicked; 18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ.

*YOU ARE WARNED TO REMAIN FAITHFUL AND STEADFAST LEST YOU ARE LED AWAY IN
ERROR.

Just as Salvation is a gift freely given and free received; so is free
will. That is why I said to My Father, “Not My will, but Your will be
done.”(Luke 22:42) I was given the freedom to choose to do the will of My
Father or not. So it is for all My Children.

When you pray, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” consider
the meaning of it and apply it to your own lives. Very often this prayer
is prayed by My children from memory without heart connection and no
application to their own lives. It is sad that My prayer(Matthew 6:9-13)
and My Word have become so trite and nothing more than a byword to many.
There is more interest and zeal for reading the writings of others about
Me and My Word than for Me and the reading and studying of My Word. How do
you expect to draw nearer to Me if what you are adhering to in thought and
sentiment is not of Me?

I DO NOT GO THROUGH ANOTHER TO REACH MY PEOPLE. But I do utilize and work
within THOSE FAITHFUL TO ME to be My light bearers and messengers, and
even those who are opposed to Me I will use to be the stepping stones for
My hand of Grace to operate upon and within. All who and what belong to Me
and all that is in the world are part of the great mechanism of My Grace
that is ever at work for the benefit of My children and My creation. And
yes, I will as I determine, use the enemy and the things of the enemy to
bring about that which I have purposed of necessity. I have told you My
thoughts and My ways are above your thoughts and ways. But you, My
children have been saved by Grace through Faith and this is not of your
own works, but is a gift from God so none of you may boast of
yourselves.(Ephesians 2:8-10) Even your believing was a gift when you
received the gift of The Measure of Faith; for the function and purpose of
faith is To Believe. Or did you think that you believed in your own
strength?! Truly I tell you that you can do nothing in your own strength.
You did not choose Me. I chose you. Long before the foundations of the
earth were laid, I knew you. You are My creation and I AM your creator;
your GOD. My Grace is in a continual state of operation in your lives and
upon the earth. Did you think it was just to save you from going to Hell?
NO! My Grace is ever-present and ever at work saving My children from the
sin of the world and from their own sins and fallings. My Grace is not
only sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9) for whatever your need is and the
needs of My creation, but is ever abounding greater than all sin.(Romans
5:20) You were predestined in Me.(Romans 8:30; Ephesians 1:5) Therefore,
remain in Me for the branch cannot live unless it remain on the vine; nor
can it bear fruit. I am the vine.(John 15:4-5)

I AM the light of this world and in Me there is not darkness.(John 8:12)
That which comes from the flesh and soul is not of Me and cannot have a
part in Me. But when you seek Me with ALL your heart, you will find Me,
for I will let you find Me.(Jeremiah 29:13-14) And I will cleanse you of
all that which is not of Me.

1 JOHN 1:7
If you walk in the Light as He (Father God) is in the Light; then you
fellowship (have community) with one another AND the blood of His Son,
Jesus will cleanse you of all sin.

You cannot make yourself clean. This can only be done by Me. I AM your
Savior; your Redeemer. I AM your Shepherd. Many who call themselves
shepherds of My people have not been appointed by Me and many are leading
My sheep astray. Take heed, for many wolves in sheep’s clothing are now
among the flock of My people. Who are you following?

*DO NOT BE UNWISE BY BEING CONTENT IN YOUR OWN THOUGHTS AND WAYS OR THE
WAYS AND DOCTRINES OF ANOTHER.

Or you will be like the foolish virgins(Matthew 25:1-13) who did not
bother to trim the wicks of their lamps and carry extra oil. The flame of
My light can only burn brightly in each of My children when their wick is
trimmed. What is the wick? The wick is your life; your soul and body; your
flesh; your ways. The extra oil is My life that invigorates your spirits
and fills you to overflowing by My Word and the Holy Spirit whom My Father
has given each of you to reveal all truth to you and to lead you unto all
righteousness.

My Word and the power of the Holy Spirit are your wick trimming tools
along with your willingness to submit yourselves unto God and resist the
devil(James 4:7). Your ways must give way to My Ways. My thoughts must
become your thoughts. You must renew your mind with My Word and adhere to
sound doctrine that can only be found in My Word.

What do you think ‘keeping your wick trimmed’ means? My Word is essential
to your lives on earth. If you do not take the time to read it for
yourselves, at least ask Me to place you under the tutelage of one of My
faithful servants who will teach you from My Word. For is it not written
in My Word, “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great
shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness you shall be
established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and
from terror, for it shall not come near you.”(Isaiah 54:13-14)

The absurdity of the determination of those of My children who are intent
on their own ways will be their undoing. Do not be deceived. You will not
be ready at the time of My return if you continue to reject the warnings
and admonishing of My messengers and continue to live your lives according
to your whims and fancies. Do not be deceived. The choice is yours. Can
two walk together if they do not agree?(Amos 3:3) Do not be wise unto
yourselves, but seek first the Kingdom of God and My righteousness, and
all that you need will be given to you. Repent of your foolishness and
self-righteousness while there is still time.

But what about Romans 1:3-14?(see below) Doesn’t it mean we have been
predestined in Christ and cannot be lost because we are sealed by the Holy
Spirit?

11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were
sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by

Glorify God in Body and Spirit

you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in

which are God’s.

an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are
not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.
5 For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man,

wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

DO NOT GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT
ROMANS 4:11-32
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some
evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the
saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the
Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the

his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. 26 “Be angry, and do
not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to
the devil. 28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor,
working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give
him who has need. 29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but
what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the
hearers. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were
sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger,
clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be
kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in

GOD’S PROMISE IS NOT SLACK
“Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir
up your pure minds by way of reminder), 2 that you may be mindful of the
words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the
commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, 3 knowing this
first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to
their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For
since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the
beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the
word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water
and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being
flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now
preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of

one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a

EPHESIANS 2:8-10
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should
boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good
works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” 2
CORINTHIANS 12:9
“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is
made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in
my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

FAITH TRIUMPHS IN TROUBLE
5 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith
into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of
God. 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that
tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and
character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God
has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
CHRIST IN OUR PLACE
6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the
ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for
a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own
love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved
from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled
to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we
shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in
God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the
reconciliation.
DEATH IN ADAM; LIFE IN CHRIST
12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death
through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned. 13 (For
until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is
no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those
who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam,
who is a type of Him who was to come. 15 But the free gift is not like the
offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace
of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to
many. 16 And the gift is not like that which came through the one who
sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in
condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in
justification. 17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through
the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of
righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men,
resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the
free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. 19 For as
by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s
obedience many will be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin
abounded, grace abounded much more, 21 so that as sin reigned in death,
even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord.”

ROMANS 8:1-39
FREE FROM INDWELLING SIN
“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus,
who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For
the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the
law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak
through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of
sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the
righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk
according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live
according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but
those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to
be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and
peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not
subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in
the flesh cannot please God.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of
God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is
not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but
the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him
who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from
the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who
dwells in you.
SONSHIP THROUGH THE SPIRIT
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live
according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will
die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will
live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of
God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but
you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba,
Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are
children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint
heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be
glorified together.
FROM SUFFERING TO GLORY
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy
to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the
earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the
sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly,
but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation
itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the
glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole
creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not
only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we
ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the
redemption of our body. 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that
is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But
if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with
perseverance.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know
what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes
intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who
searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes
intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love
God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He
foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son,
that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He
predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also
justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
GOD’S EVERLASTING LOVE
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be
against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for
us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who
shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also
risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession
for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall
tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or
peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for
the slaughter.”
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who
loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels
nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39
nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

EPHESIANS 1:1-23
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To the saints who
are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
REDEMPTION IN CHRIST
3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed
us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just
as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should
be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to
adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good
pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which
He made us accepted in the Beloved.
7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us
in all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His
will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that
in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together
in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on
earth—in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being
predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according
to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should
be to the praise of His glory.
13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel
of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the
Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until
the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
PRAYER FOR SPIRITUAL WISDOM
15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and
your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you,
making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and
revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding
being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what
are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what
is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according
to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He
raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly
places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion,
and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which
is to come.
22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all
things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills
all in all.”

MATTHEW 6:9-13
In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.

THE PARABLE OF THE SOWER
4 And when a great multitude had gathered, and they had come to Him from

the birds of the air devoured it. 6 Some fell on rock; and as soon as it
sprang up, it withered away because it lacked moisture. 7 And some fell
among thorns, and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it. 8 But others
fell on good ground, sprang up, and yielded a crop a hundredfold.” When
He had said these things He cried, “He who has ears to hear, let him
hear!”
THE PURPOSE OF PARABLES
9 Then His disciples asked Him, saying, “What does this parable mean?”
10 And He said, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the
kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that
‘Seeing they may not see,
And hearing they may not understand.’
THE PARABLE OF THE SOWER EXPLAINED
11 “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those by
the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the
word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13 But
the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with
joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of
temptation fall away. 14 Now the ones that fell among thorns are those
who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and
pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. 15 But the ones that
fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble
and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.”
THE PARABLE OF THE LIGHT REVEALED
16 “No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it
under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the
light. 17 For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything
hidden that will not be known and come to light. 18 Therefore take heed
how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does
not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.”

JOSHUA 24:14-15
“Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and
put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River
and in Egypt. Serve the Lord! 15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the
Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods
which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the
gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house,
we will serve the Lord.”

JOHN 8:12

JOHN 15:4-6
4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,

1 CORINTHIANS 6:9-20
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?

17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but
he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which
is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and
in your spirit, which are God’s.”

MATTHEW 25:1-13
“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took
their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready
went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son
of man cometh.”

ISAIAH 55:8-9
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,
saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my
ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

2 TIMOTHY 2:1-25
“Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same
commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No
man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he
may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he
strive lawfully.
6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. 7
Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. 8
Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead

of God is not bound.
10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also
obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live
with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also
will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 14
Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord
that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of
the hearers.
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to
be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more
ungodliness.
17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and
Philetus;
18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is
past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The
Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of
Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver,
but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto
honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every
good work.
22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity,
peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender
strifes.
24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all
men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God
peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who
are taken captive by him at his will.”

2 THESSALONIANS 2:1-17
THE GREAT APOSTACY
“Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our
gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or
troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as
though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means;
for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the
man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts
himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits
as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these
things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in
his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He
(the Holy Spirit) who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of
the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will
consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of
His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of
Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all
unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive
the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason
God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12
that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had
pleasure in unrighteousness.
STAND FAST
13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved
by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation
through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, 14 to which
He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord
Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions
which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. 16 Now may our Lord
Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given
us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, 17 comfort your hearts
and establish you in every good word and work.

AMOS 3:1-15
AUTHORITY OF THE PROPHET’S MESSAGE
“Hear this word that the Lord has spoken against you, O children of
Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of
Egypt, saying:
2 “You only have I known of all the families of the earth;
Therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.”
3 Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?
4 Will a lion roar in the forest, when he has no prey?
Will a young lion cry out of his den, if he has caught nothing?
5 Will a bird fall into a snare on the earth, where there is no trap for it?
Will a snare spring up from the earth, if it has caught nothing at all? 6
If a trumpet is blown in a city, will not the people be afraid?
If there is calamity in a city, will not the Lord have done it?
7 Surely the Lord God does nothing,
Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
8 A lion has roared!
Who will not fear?
The Lord God has spoken!
Who can but prophesy?
PUNISHMENT OF ISRAEL’S SINS
9 “Proclaim in the palaces at Ashdod,
And in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say:
‘Assemble on the mountains of Samaria;
See great tumults in her midst,
And the oppressed within her.
10 For they do not know to do right,’
Says the Lord,
‘Who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.’ ”
11 Therefore thus says the Lord God:
“An adversary shall be all around the land;
He shall sap your strength from you,
And your palaces shall be plundered.”
12 Thus says the Lord:
“As a shepherd takes from the mouth of a lion
Two legs or a piece of an ear,
So shall the children of Israel be taken out
Who dwell in Samaria—
In the corner of a bed and on the edge of a couch!
13 Hear and testify against the house of Jacob,”
Says the Lord God, the God of hosts,
14 “That in the day I punish Israel for their transgressions,
I will also visit destruction on the altars of Bethel;
And the horns of the altar shall be cut off
And fall to the ground.
15 I will destroy the winter house along with the summer house;
The houses of ivory shall perish,
And the great houses shall have an end,”
Says the Lord.

JAMES 4:1-17
PRIDE PROMOTES STRIFE
Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your
desires for pleasure that war in your members? 2 You lust and do not have.
You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not
have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask
amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4 Adulterers and
adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity
with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes
himself an enemy of God. 5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in
vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?
6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:
“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”
HUMILITY CURES WORLDLINESS
7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you
sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and
weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. DO
NOT JUDGE A BROTHER
11 Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a
brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law.
But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12
There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to
judge another?
DO NOT BOAST ABOUT TOMORROW
13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such
a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14 whereas
you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is
even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15
Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this
or that.” 16 But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is
evil.
17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is
sin.

**When you sin, repent of your sin(s) asap. Do not let the sun go down on
your anger or on unrepented sins.
