A revelation about trusting Him, our Refiner

I woke up this morning receiving a revelation about a major factor in why certain judgements have not started yet. And even though it’s partly that the Lord is waiting on allowing things to commence because of His great love and mercy, I believe He’s also waiting because He is still perfecting His Remnant.

He gave me a scripture reference from James 1:2-4:

“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

And though there are many references to our need to be strengthened, these scriptures mean more to us than we might realize.

He showed me a scene of death . Of what, to some might seem like injustice or God being very cruel or hard. In our hearts and in our minds, we know and understand that this world deserves the judgements that are coming. But as we were seeing them happen, as we were witnessing death all around us, like any other refining fire that He’s put us through, these are meant to strengthen us, but they can also become overwhelming and as a result our emotions can get the best of us. I don’t know about you, but I have turned on Him a time or two, becoming opposite of being humble, because I felt these fires were unjust and unfair to be happening to me. In the end of those lessons, I always come back feeling Godly sorrow, guilty, shameful, repentant and very sorry for turning on Him, and a little more mature. I know it’s easy for us to say we trust Him but when we see death, carnage, things that are going to be difficult to face, happening to those around us, maybe even to those we deeply love, are we going to be able to really trust Him and not turn on Him or walk away from Him? He gave me an understanding, a big reason why things have not yet commenced is because He is perfecting that trust in us and has helped me to understand why it is so important for us to be intimate, personable, so close and connected with Him to allow Him the time with us so that we don’t turn on Him or fall away from Him when these really hard things begin. As His Remnant, I truly believe it’s “our perfecting”, that is the main reason judgements have not yet begun. (I’ve been feeling this for a long time now). You see, I don’t know about you, but I continually pray that the Lord would not allow anyone, (not a single one) who is a Remnant to give up or fall away from Him. And I believe that He’s honouring that prayer by ensuring that we are strong in trusting Him and that we will not falter when the time comes when our hearts begin to witness things that are going to cause others to curse Him; to curse His name.

Be prepared oh Remnant of God, for I truly believe these fires, each test being progressively hotter and more painful, be prepared to face one that’s really going to test our commitment and devotion to Him. I feel that so strongly. But I also believe that this last big test will be our final exam. Be prepared to pass it! I pray that we all pass with flying colours. That we perfect our trust in Him once and for all.
