A Beautiful River

I was either sleeping or half asleep when I saw a beautiful river from mid-air. The water was still, and it was a pristine light green color. The riverbank on either side was white, as though white gravel was spread out evenly on it. There were no trees or man-made structures that could give any indication of how wide the river was. In fact, I didn’t see any vegetation, soil, or rocks either. This was like a river in a desert. The white riverbanks on both sides were the same width. As I looked down from mid-air, I thought you could walk on the white riverbank and follow the river.
I’ve been going through Isaiah and came to the following earlier this week that may be relevant:
Isaiah 41:17-18 (NKJV)
17 “The poor and needy seek water, but there is none,
Their tongues fail for thirst.
I, the Lord, will hear them;
I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.
18 I will open rivers in desolate heights,
And fountains in the midst of the valleys;
I will make the wilderness a pool of water,
And the dry land springs of water.
Isaiah 43:19 (NKJV)
19 Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.
Psalm 23 also comes to mind:
Psalm 23:2 (NKJV)
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
