Voices of doom and gloom are many. Unfamiliar voices have become our friends as daily they deliver, with toothy grin and believability, a smorgasbord of anguish, anxiety and fear, offering little in the way of hope, happiness or peace. Worries abound, optimism fades, depression ensues and man sinks a bit lower into his own personal prison of misery, heartache and pain – but who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?
You base your life on a whim, on possibilities on ‘what if’s’, on lies. Daily you board the roller coaster of life taking you farther and farther into a world consumed with perversion, corruption and sin. Does not the Word say; “You (LORD God will) keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trust in You”? Yet crafty and cunning voices of the worldly wise continue to lead men and women astray, just as they have done since the beginning of time….”hath God really said…”
Millions have succumb to the darkness. There is no faithfulness or steadfast love, and no knowledge of God in the land; there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, committing adultery…bloodshed follows bloodshed. A spirit of whoredom has led them astray, they have left their God to play the whore; and millions more are choosing to follow these same deceptive voices of sedition, anarchy and strife. We must silence the voice of dissension on our knees.
