Vision: Bought with a Price – Christine Beadsworth

While I was breaking bread this morning, I saw a vision of a pawn shop and its shelves were packed full, as pawn shops always are. But I saw no jewelry or other items. Every surface was packed with the souls of men and women. The pawnbroker was the devil himself, gloating over all the precious possessions he has gained ownership of and knowing no man could afford to purchase them back. The door of the pawn shop was open and suddenly a river of Blood poured into the pawn shop, blanketing the entire stock of that establishment. It looked like a giant arm of red which reached in and laid hold of each soul lying on those shelves and then gathered them up. Then I watched the Owner of that arm stride into the pawn shop and gather His rightful Blood-bought possessions with that one arm and He drew them to Himself, bringing them to His side so that they were somehow absorbed into His body, below His heart. Then He strode out again, leaving the pawn shop owner speechless. I noticed that during the whole scene, Jesus did not speak one word. The powerful, authoritative presence of the Blood said everything that needed to be said and redeemed every soul pawned into the enemy’s clutches that day.

There were so many faces amongst those swept up by the Lord in that scene, children and young adults, old men and women, and I became aware that these precious people had been prayed for with tears for many years by those who loved them. The intercession had continued in spite of every day ending with the door of that pawn shop being firmly locked by its gloating owner. Some of the older folks had long outlived their relatives and friends who had beseeched Heaven on their behalf. And then the appointed time had come, the bowls of prayer became full and the time of release of the power of the Blood had come.

I believe that in these days, we are going to see a mighty demonstration of the power of the Blood of the Lamb in situations which have seemed hopeless for so long. Don’t stop praying. Rise up and decree the power of the Blood over their lives. The Lord will see the fruit of the travail of His soul and rest satisfied! His strong right arm will work mightily.

Psa 89:13 You have a mighty arm; strong is Your hand, Your right hand is soaring high.

Lastly, in closing, I want to share with you the words of a new song that came as I was worshiping earlier this week. Put your own tune to it and sing it with all your might over those you love. Let the Blood speak for them and let them be delivered from the pawnbroker and gathered into the Body of Christ by its unstoppable power:

We declare the Blood still speaks

from the mercy seat of God.

We declare the Blood still lives

and proclaims Your victory.

All of Heaven and of earth

join together to proclaim

We declare the Blood still speaks

and its power remains the same!

Redeem: to regain possession of something in exchange for payment
