20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; Ephesians 2
And to masons, and hewers of stone, and to buy timber and hewed stone to repair the breaches of the house of the Lord, and for all that was laid out for the house to repair it. 2 Kings 12
(The Spirit of the Lord showed me a stone wall and it was laid out with large fitted stones in it. As I looked at it the Holy Spirit showed me the various layers that made up a wall. As I continued to look at it, I was shown holes within the rocks. There were three sides I was looking at, and within each of these sides were various holes or gaps, within the stone framework. But as I continued to look at the wall, a movement of some sort, and various debris was pouring in through these holes. Each hole in the wall exhibited this type of movement. Then the vision faded.)
“There is a breach in the body of Christ. For there are openings where the enemy has attempted to enter in there. Woe to those who think that all is well. For if you are the body of Christ, then you are meant to have a solid foundation. But I tell you that there are holes and gaps there.
You are meant to be a holy priesthood, but the enemy has crept in through these fissures in the wall. But the gaps can be repaired. The mortar of my Holy Spirit can be applied there. You are meant to be made up of the various stones throughout the body of Christ. Each stone is to be firmly fitted within that framework. Each stone has its own peculiar appearance. And yet even with its own peculiar appearance, its edges will make up the wall where it is laid to be upon.
I AM the Chief Cornerstone, and the foundation is made up of my holy apostles and prophets, and everything that is laid upon this foundation will rise to be a holy temple in the Lord. But the gaps, the holes in the wall there, are because you have allowed various other teachings and doctrines to enter in. These doctrines have weakened some of the very stones there. But I AM the great workman, and I can repair the breach.”
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. 7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; 1 Peter 2
