Dear brothers and sisters,
It is my great honour and privilege to return to you with another teaching from our Father. Please know that in order to reap the most benefit from this Word, it would be valuable if you could grab your Bibles and, after praying and interceding, study along with the Scriptures given.
On Sabbath, Aug.30/2025, I was absolutely delighting myself in Yah, reveling in His rest and peace while remembering the hefty price Yahshua paid for our salvation. HalleluYah!!
For it’s not with corruptible things, such as silver and gold, that we were redeemed by the vain way of life passed down to us by our ancestors, but with the precious blood of Yahshua Ha’Mashiach as the perfect Lamb of Elohim.
It is because of this great sacrifice that we should not miss the fact that when Yahshua broke the curse of sin and death, that He made a way for us to also rise with Him, in His resurrection power to nail our sinful nature to our crosses. For we are no longer slaves to sin but instruments of righteousness for the glory of Yah.
You see, when we come to Yahshua to admit we are sinners and commit our lives to serving Him wholly, what we are actually doing is renouncing the ways of Satan and the world. When our bodies are immersed in the baptismal waters, our old selves die to sin and emerge from the waters as new creations, fit to work in Yah’s kingdom and able to produce every good fruit according to Scriptures.
What we often hear, “that we are still sinners” is a lie! For if we have truly committed ourselves to honouring and serving our Father, then sin no longer has a hold on us. If the Son sets us free, we are free indeed!! We do not become righteous when we die. We become righteous the moment we wholeheartedly commit ourselves to serving our Father and go about obeying Him. And this not by our own righteousness which the Bible describes as filthy rags, but of Yahshua’s. It is because of Him that this is possible.
Of course, Yah has given me a ton of Scriptures to expound on this in much more detail. But here is the bottom line, how could Yah refer to many of His servants such as Job, Noah and Daniel as blameless, righteous and upright in His sight while they were still in the flesh? Does this mean they never sinned? No. They were considered righteous because they had committed their lives to living in accordance with Yah’s Law and did their best to keep their feet from becoming entangled with sin which is essentially the breaking of the Law.
1 John3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW.
This past Summer, I was at a Christian camp for a few days. And it was disheartening the number of times and the number of songs that kept repeating how we are still sinners. If we have set ourselves on Yah’s path, on the Narrow Path, then we are no longer sinners but righteous, by faith in Yahshua.
As we make it our mission to live entirely for Him, in His righteousness and perfect light, it is no longer we that live but Yahshua that lives in us.
You see, the moment you attribute the word sinner to yourself, your expectation of living a life in complete alignment to Yah’s desires and Laws is shattered. And that is because this image of perfection and holiness that Yah requires of us appears unattainable. But remember Yahshua came to earth and executed all of Yah’s Laws perfectly as a human being although He experienced all of the same temptations that we face daily.
Brothers and sisters, I exhort you to live your lives as living sacrifices unto Yah, and your salvation in His fear and trembling. Recognize that not only did Yahshua follow Yah’s Laws perfectly thus setting a concrete example for us, He also gave us of HIS Spirit. And since the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, knowing exactly what Yah requires of us, He will never lead us astray nor contradict His Word. When we yield to Him, He directs us, instructs us, teaches us and even corrects and rebukes us.
2 Pet.2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
1 Cor.10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
This means that Yah has already empowered His people to overcome temptation and sin; to resist Satan’s lures.
The so-called “churches” have lowered the standard of holiness that Yah requires by deliberately repeating the mantra that we are all sinners and ignore what we are taught in the Word. Yes, once we were sinners, dead in our ways. But when Yahshua came to live in us, He made us righteous in His sight by the power of His blood. Therefore, our daily goal should be to pursue holiness at all costs because without it we will not see Yah.
When we become apathetic, complacent to sin; when we constantly feel and say that we are still sinners, we minimize the sacrifice that Yahshua accomplished for us on the cross. This is a trap by the enemy to set us up for failure, to make us feel that we cannot measure up to Yah’s standard, so why try?
We are called and instructed by Yah to give up the desires of our flesh and the ways of the other nations. It is unfortunate that many prefer to rationalize their choices instead of swiftly obeying Him. The bible is clear in Luk.16:13 that no servant can serve 2 masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. We cannot serve both Yah and money, neither can we serve both Yah and Satan. And no man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of Elohim.
When we choose to dwell in a state of sin or complacency, our spiritual growth and intimacy with Yah is hindered. For Isa. 59:2 states that our sins separate us from Him. Thus, it is crucial that whenever we trip or fall that we immediately wash our feet so that we can stand pure before Yah. The objective here is NOT to sin. However, if one should fall, Yahshua’s blood is still powerful to cleanse us. The attitude we are not allowed to have is that it doesn’t matter if we sin because Yahshua will forgive us anyway or that He has already died for all our past, present and future sins. If you have fallen in this trap, please unravel yourself promptly and recommit your life to Yah. For He is able to work in you to will and to act according to His good purpose.
Let’s take, for example, King David. 1 Kin.9:4-5 says, “If thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: 5 Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.”
Here we read what Yah thought of King David. Although we know he was not perfect, Yah still considered him a man after his own heart because he walked in integrity of heart and uprightness according to Yah’s commands. And that is what we are called to do.
Please note that “righteous” does not mean you never sin. It means you live in complete surrender and holiness before Yah and that if you fail you repent immediately and wholly such that your garment remains pure, untainted.
2 Pet.1:3-4, 9 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
2 Pet.2:1-3 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
You see? Many false prophets and teachers introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Sovereign Elohim who bought us at the cost of Yahshua’s blood. They will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. If we went into the baptismal waters as sinners and came up as sinners, then where was the transformation that salvation is supposed to accomplish?
2 Pet.2:19, 21 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: FOR OF WHOM A MAN IS OVERCOME, OF THE SAME IS HE BROUGHT IN BONDAGE. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
2 Pet.3:11-12, 14, 17 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
Those who preach that we are still sinners invite lawlessness as a means to escape their full obedience and commitment to Yah.
Sin is the action of giving in to temptation. If we give in to sin it will eventually lead us to the second death which is the lake of fire and, in many cases, to the first death which is the physical death. However, if we say no to temptation, we have not sinned. Let us, therefore, resist the Devil so that he will flee from us.
Jam.1:14-15 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Rom.6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
As a side note, I will add here that in Isa.1 we gather that the Israelites were bringing offerings to Yah while still living in their sins. However, Yah did not accept them. Instead, He sternly rebuked them and then invited them to come to Him and repent in order to be forgiven.
Rom.6:1-4 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
And this new life entails that we live sinlessly, righteously, godly, holy before Yah. We are to overcome our sins. That is, not engaging in them anymore.
Rom.6:6-7, 10, 12-13 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
The moment you continue to call yourself a “sinner”, after confessing your sins, shows that nothing has changed; that you have not submitted yourself to your new Master Yahshua, to do as He pleases.
Rom.6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
A soul that has truly confessed his sin and FULLY REPENTED is a NEW creation and a righteous soul. If you are a slave to sin, you are a sinner. If you are a slave to righteousness, then you are righteous.
Rom.6:18-19, 22 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. 19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Essentially, a sinner is someone who claims slavery to sin which leads to death. Therefore, a sinner who has revoked his slavery to sin is declared righteous in Yah’s sight. His fruit is holiness. There are only 2 types of people before Yah: righteous and sinners. The righteous are the ones who believe in Yahshua as Messiah AND are living according to His commands. That is why Yahshua insisted that if we love Him, we will follow His commands. If we claim to know Yahshua but fail to keep His commands, then the love of the Father is not in us.
1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
It’s interesting and so ironic that those who claim to be saved and do not wish to submit to Yah’s Laws still refer to themselves as sinners. In reality they are still sinners because, even unknowingly, they live in rebellion of Yah. The big surprise is that they will NOT become righteous when they meet Yahshua.
Matt.7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
If you’re not submitted to Yah’s Laws, then you are still living in sin, controlled by your sinful nature and cannot please Yah. On the other hand, a life that has submitted to Yah’s Spirit lives according to what the Spirit desires, which is to please Yah in all things.
Rom.8:3-8 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
The fruit of a sinner is submission to lawlessness which is the breaking of the Law. The fruit of a righteous man is submission to the Torah. There is no other way to please Yah. We either yield to our Head, our BrideGroom or we do not.
Those who do not submit to Yah’s Laws cannot have intimacy with Him as they do not understand His requirements. Oftentimes, we hear of people who cling to the lie that we no longer have to submit to Yah’s Laws, commands, statutes and decrees. These people have a form of godliness but deny Yah’s power that enables us to walk in obedience. They are the ones who will hear Messiah tell them, “I never knew you. Get away from me, you workers of iniquity”. Who is a worker of iniquity? A sinner; one who doesn’t follow the Law.
Some people like to defend their disobedience to Yah’s Laws by quoting James 2:10 which says, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” And so, in their limited understanding, believe that this verse excuses them from obeying the Torah. Let me ask you something, “if you run a red light, does it excuse you from running over pedestrians?” That verse means that yes, if you break even one commandment then you are by title a lawbreaker. That means, you need to repent and start again. Not that you disable the whole Law.
Another excuse I’ve heard is that Adam couldn’t even keep one law, how are we expected to hold them all? First of all, just because Adam broke a law, it doesn’t mean he didn’t keep the rest. Second of all, that is why the bible says that with man it is impossible but with Yah all things are possible.
Have you ever read and studied Deut.13? Essentially it says to cut off anyone who incites rebellion against Yah.
Deut.13:6-10 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; 7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; 8 Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: 9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. 10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
According to Rev.21:8 the liars – those who state that we don’t need to obey Yah’s Laws, contrary to what the Word says, will not inherit Yah’s kingdom. Instead, their place will be in the lake of fire. Whereas, those who follow Yah’s commands will have the right to eat from the tree of life.
Rev.21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Rev.22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
The least we can do, after we understand Yah’s plan of salvation for our lives, is to set our feet off the wide path and on to the Narrow path; to live wholly for Him.
1 Pet.1:13-16 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
The Bible is littered with Scriptures that illustrate what it means to be holy or set apart. And that is not living according to our sinful nature, nor the world, nor the pagans. If you read the Word carefully, from the beginning, you should notice that every time Israel disobeyed Yah, they suffered judgments, reprimand, exile, famines, plagues and death. You may think that nowadays we are living in the time of grace and therefore that we no longer cut off those who disobey Yah. To an extent that is true. But here’s the thing: what is worse, physical or spiritual death?
1 Pet.2:1, 9, 11 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings. 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; 11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul. 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
We are to resist any form of temptation and sin. Even if people hurl insults at us, we are to persevere in righteousness, just like Yahshua did.
Eph.5:5, 8-9 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth).
Here’s another example. What did Yahshua answer the rich man in Luk.18 when he was asked how he could inherit eternal life? Yahshua told him to keep the commandments.
Many nowadays don’t want to do the work to deepen their roots in Yah and His Word. They don’t want to take their time waiting upon Yah. They just want answers NOW! They’ll ask their friends, their loved ones, their mentors, even Google but they won’t bow their knees for more than 5 min to seek Yah although His word clearly says that He shall be found by us WHEN we seek Him with our whole heart.
And then when He begins to reveal His heart, His ways, His desires, even sins, one is to truly repent! That means to divorce from anything that doesn’t please Him. We need to be doers of the Word and not hearers only. People like attending church like it’s a social club – a place where you meet like-minded individuals who believe the same lies. And then if someone tries to hold you accountable to Yah’s Word, or points sin in your life you quickly jump off your seat to call them unloving and tell them they’re judging you. When Yah said to speak the truth in love, what do you think He meant!?
