Ready Yourselves, My Bride

I am writing this on 9/2/26, but what I will share happened to me off and on last week over the course of seven days. It is a true story, and I hope to explain this in a way that will be pleasing and acceptable to the Lord.

May He receive all the praise and glory!!

May it be an encouragement to the Body of Christ for the Bridegroom comes soon.

It all began on 8/26/26 when I was seated on my couch reading in the living room of my home. As I read, I instantly smelled the most lovely fragrance. It smelled like a wonderful complementary fragrance of combined essential oils. Gentle, yet masculine. It was so lovely, but it had no physical source. This was not the first time I had smelled a fragrance in the spirit. There was nothing in my home that I could think of that would create this lovely fragrance. I asked the Lord what it was, but got no reply.

Again the next day on 8/27/26, I was washing a few dishes. I was overcome with the same fragrance. A fragrance so lovely, but with no physical source. I chuckled as I asked the Lord what it was, but still no reply.

The following day on 8/28/26, the same lovely fragrance manifested in my bedroom. I inquired of the Lord, but still no reply. This was the third time this lovely fragrance had presented itself to me. It created in me a sense of joy, wonder, and peace. It never created in me a sense of dread or fear.

I continued to meditate on this and pray.  On 9/1/26, I decided to go for a short walk outside. As I was walking my neighborhood, I was overcome again with the same lovely fragrance. The Lord already had my attention regarding this fragrance, but now He really had my attention because it was now occurring outside of my home. It had gone on for a week. Not every day during that week, but over a week’s duration of seven days. As I walked home, I asked the Lord what it was He was revealing to me, but still no reply.

Once I arrived back home, I sought the Lord and prayed asking the Lord to reveal to me what it was He was sharing with me. When I did, the Lord instantly brought to mind a pouch full of small vials that contained anointing oils. These are anointing oils I purchased from a small Christian business some time ago. I rarely touch them unless they are to be used to anoint my home, land, other’s homes, etc. Most of the time they are soaking up the Word of God perched next to a device that plays the Bible continuously in my home.

Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Psalm 12:6: 6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Jeremiah 23:9: Is not my word like as a fire? Saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

I retrieved the pouch of anointing oils. I opened the small silver pouch that was closed with a drawstring. The vials were all there, undisturbed, and not leaking. Inside were seven small vials containing various fragrances of anointing oils, each with their own particular godly names. Names such as “Gifts of the Magi”, “Holy Wind”, “His Majesty”, etc. I opened each vial to smell the fragrance from each one. Nothing matched the fragrance I had been smelling in the spirit, until the fragrance from one vial hit me like a ton of bricks.

The fragrance emitting from vial 5 was exactly what I had been smelling.  It was it!!

This vial was named, “Bride of Christ”!!!

Over the course of seven days, the Lord had been sharing this lovely fragrance with me in the spirit.

I was amazed!!

It then hit me:

Over the course of seven days this had occurred.

It was one of seven vials.

And…seven is the number of completion of the Church Age.

When I stated this observation to the Lord, He instantly replied to me:

Ready yourselves, My Bride. I AM coming back soon!

Insights:

I pray that this is an encouragement to the Body of Christ, much like it is to me.

May we be found watchful with our lamps filled with oil, for Jesus is coming back soon! Hallelujah!!
