Race of a Lifetime

As the flag raises to be abruptly swooshed down, the race begins its journey to eventual completion. Each of my children have been in this race whether they know it or not. As each rounds the corner, some get stuck along the way. Some get a leg cramp while others sail through towards the finish line. Where will you be in this race? What have you done to prepare? Have you shaved all the hairs off your body (sin), so that the wind and water will not deter your progress?
Many warnings have been given to prepare for what is coming. Few have heeded these warnings. The race will continue whether ready or not. Your future depends on making it to the finish line. All extra luggage you carry with you can be discarded along the way, to lighten your load. You don’t need to finish first, or second or third. You just need to finish what was started in you, long ago. I Am there rooting for you.
