12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah. 1 Kings.

“I will bring judgment upon this land, for it has already begun. Your money supply will be hindered because of this outbreak. I tell you that the markets will tip over and the supply of the almighty dollar will fall. Wait and see my people, for this is just the tip of the iceberg. You have been told by some that you must hoard a great supply of food, but these that do this are not depending upon Me.

For have I not said that I own the cattle on a thousand hills? Have I not said that I will supply all your needs? But no, you would rather live in fear. You would rather fall prey to the news reports that drift across this land.

I tell you that things are getting worse but that does not mean that you need to live in fear. For I will always be with you, even unto the end. Are you all like Peter who looked upon the waves and not upon Me? Remember the woman at Zarephath when the prophet came to her? For the oil and the meal did not run out; and so it will be with you if you put your faith in Me.

But truly I did not say to fear, but I have told you to prepare; and yet it is not in hoarding but it is in the preparing of your hearts for the days ahead. ”

Preparing can get overwhelming. Do what you can, as the Lord leads. Be prepared for power outages, water needs, & have extra storable food set aside. Know that you will have to lean on God, & work together with others. Don’t go by fear, & don’t be totally unprepared either. You will be more at peace before the hurricane hits if you have a working flashlight & candles. Having instant coffee, cans of Spam, & a way to cook can help steady your nerves until the crisis is over, or you have adjusted to changes. It is healing to have a cup of coffee with a neighbor of friend after all hell broke loose. Know also that you can’t fix it all either.

This post caused me to quit my job. Thank you so much!! I’m just going to rely soley on the Lord for every need and take no personal responsibility.

The woman at Zarephath had still some flavour and oil, God used through the prophet what she had. The other point is, this woman didn’t belong to Israel, so God sent the prophet to a syrian woman to help her and not to the unrepented Israel. When Jesus told that to the jewish people, they became angry and wanted to kill him.
Some people in Switzerland ask now, how is it possible that 2’000 christians came in February together and now, some are sick of the virus and bring the virus to others. There is not only grace and protection for the believers but a lot of judgement is coming. If the church don’t repent, doesn’t have protection.

Unfortunitly the above word does not coincide with God’s word. We are Biblically told to store food for the famine, yes, we are to rely on God and not by man and our own understanding, Trust In His Word.. Do not fear man but fear God.

    Genesis 41:33-39

33Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. 34Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years. 35And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities. 36And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine. 37And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants. 38And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? 39And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:

Tom, I agree with you and didn’t Joseph store food away because a great famine was coming over the land?

God had me write Words about this and others too about preparing all ways….spiritually,
With food and to prepare our hearts for what is coming.

If we are called to leave fast then that food would remain but others would be fed.

It would be a foolish person that would not be willing to help another in time of famine because they had some money but did not buy food and water. Those will the same people running to everyone’s house looking for food begging or breaking into homes for food and water.

I mean if someone is hoarding a ton of food in an underground bunker and not willing to help another that would not be good but one must discern and not let anyone in during these days of famine and let the Holy Spirit bring that person to you. That is where we must all rely on God and have Him bring them to us and hear what He has to say.

So I agree Tom and we DO have a responsibility in life and there have been lots of videos, dreams, visions and Words by the Holy Spirit saying to prepare your physical house too, meaning things you will need to survive on.

Don’t be the foolish person who sits on their duff expecting later food will just come to you especially if you are in an unrepentant sin.

    Blessings to all

Some say: “Stock resources”, others say: “do not stock resources”. I don’t know who is a real prophet and who says for himself. God is not confusion, when in doubt it is better to take the example of Joseph in Egypt and prepare. It is better to have and not need, than not to have and need.

  7. Marc

    There’s such controversy over preparing!!
When it’s called unfaithful to prepare for the collapse coming, you have to say why?
They say it’s not trusting God, it’s done in fear, it’s HOARDING…?..selfish behaviour.
Here’s my focus, we are told by examples of the Bible, to be ready in ALL OUR WAYS.
NOAH and Joseph, Moses and those leaving Egypt for the desert prepared, the Egyptians gave them wagons, gold/silver, all thing’s to easily leave them, pushed overnight, just to go quickly…get out.
Most Christian people won’t prepare anything, no food, no alternative cooking methods and heating methods, because they believe in MAGA doctrine, prosperity gospel, or that the rapture Away from the collapse is coming….so no need too.
Only a small remnant is preparing 1st spiritual discipline, most important, then 2nd some level of food insurance, for their families and others allowed by God to help.
Especially if creating a good Goshen for those people God will bring to us.
I think that’s the real issue here, it makes the lazy and cheap behaviour of weak pre-trib Christian people uncomfortable…
Then next if not pre-trib escapees, or they can’t show Noah being unfaithful, they still don’t want to spend money for extra food, so out comes the word FEAR, PANIC, HOARDING DISORDER!!!!!!
It’s not unfaithful to prepare for the collapse coming.
God’s warnings given are clear, he loves us, and knows our thoughts and hearts, if we’re afraid or trusting, but following orders to prepare and then help others.
    Amen Christ Jesus.

  8. Michael

The Lord told me last year when I asked Him, “What will happen to Christians who don’t prepare?” He said, “They will go into FEMA camps and it will be a one-way trip.” Preparing is not a lack of faith. He has told me repeatedly to prepare for ourselves and family and friends who cannot or will not prepare.

  9. Dana

I believe in preparing as you are able financially and storage space wise.

  10. Leah

    Physically Prepared, or not….
Most importantly, are you spiritually prepared?

Many: a large number of people, the majority.
“For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.”
Many will come in the name of Jesus (“Christians”), saying Jesus is the messiah; and will deceive many.
“Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many, And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”
Ever notice….that there aren’t very many prophets mentioned in the Bible?
There was never more than a few, obedient prophets declaring the true words of God, in any given time period/generation, according to the scriptures.
Usually only one prophet, occasionally two, but never many.
Matter of fact, never in biblical, world, or Church history, has there been as many so called prophets as there are today.
Over the last 10, maybe 20 years, the number of those that call themselves prophets has rapidly increased. They number in, at least, the thousands.

I find it quite peculiar that the many, all announce that they are prophets.
If you have a dream speak the dream. If you have a word speak the word.
Why do the many call themselves prophets?
Why do the many wait with baited breath for another “word” from these so called prophets… even when their words fail?
If they are truly baptized in the Holy Spirit they themselves have direct access to the Word of God.
Almost everyone (if not everyone) has access to at least, the written word of God.

Even John, never claimed to be a prophet. When asked if he was the prophet he said “no”.
All John knew, was that he was.. ‘”The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight the way of the Lord,”.
It was Jesus who defined John…
“But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet.”
“And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come.”
John did not “toot his own horn” so to speak. He did only what God chose him to do (many are called, but few are chosen), and Jesus
named him a prophet, not only a prophet, but the “prophet of prophets”…Elijah.

Famine is already here, and it is tragically severe.
It is not a lack of grain, or meat, that feeds the physical, but a famine that starves the soul.
A lack of the True Word of God being preached, read, heard.
    One camp of prophets say..
“The Law no longer matters, peace and prosperity are here, name it and claim it….”leading the many to death.
The other camp says.. “Fear! Fear eternal hell fire, only the Law can save you, judgement and wrath are here…”leading the many to death.
Both camps speak similar verbiage, words like… “the spirit impressed upon me”, “that resonates in my spirit”, etc…
confirming dreams with other dreams. Totally disregarding the written Word of God.
7 mountains mandate, mantle thieves, glitter cloud chasers.
Delusional visionaries, “seeing” people being tortured in the most grotesque (and 9 times out of ten, sexual) ways in “eternal hell”.
Both groups claim God has given them authority to speak lies, to speak against His written word, to speak against the literal words of His only begotten Son.
Both tend to confuse the wrath of the lamb, with the great tribulation.
Both tend to believe only those that are like them, will escape judgment.
Both attempt to reduce God, Love, Justice, The Truth, etc…to nothing more than a feeling.
The many are always seeking/“seeing”….”signs”, in numbers, movies, the stock market, the newest virus, etc…. Never accepting what is already written.
Their discernment or lack there of, is based on how something makes them feel. like…does this resonate in your spirit?
Both accuse each other day and night of being false, damned, etc.. (who needs Satan with “siblings” such as these?).

Famine is already here, the falling away has, and is happening (falling away from the Truth).
The man of lawlessness is being revealed, to those who have eyes to see.
The mark of the beast is here, many have already received it…
The many peddle it, and call it good.

The many can not see or hear, because they choose to gobble up lies like candy.
The lies make them feel good.
Even though the Truth, the food of eternal life, is still available. The many refuse to eat of the Truth, because it doesn’t feel good to realize what wretches we really are.
Always waiting for the end to begin.
Never recognizing what time it is.
    The blind leading the blind.
The Spirit of “Anti Christ” is here, has been for quite sometime.
The many promote it, calling evil
good, and good evil. They serve it.
They worship it. They call it holy, and righteous. They speak to it. They are raising it up, at a speed that hasn’t been seen, since the crucifixion of Jesus.

We can go on, and on, about what time it is… but for what purpose?
Those who have eyes to see, and ears to hear, already know.
    Those that don’t…
    Repent! Repent, Repent..
The Lord is close, you don’t have to take mine or anyone else’s word for it….
“Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.”
“… So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!”

I once was blind….I was just one of the many, but Jesus Christ.
“ by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain;”
If He is willing to save a wretch like me, how much more willing is He, to save you.
How do we know what time it is…
    The Bible tells us so.
Read it. Eat it. Do not forget…
(“It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”)
    ….Jesus Christ~

  11. Marc

    Leah….Are you a pre-trib doctrine believer?
The reason I say that is, they hate to prepare physical reserves…like food.
All those Christians who prepare for the collapse coming, are following warnings given to prepare for the collapse coming.
    by the watchmen of God….also
By reading the whole message of God’s warnings to repent, to pray, preparing by increasing spiritual discipline with Holy Spirit knowledge and lastly… physically prepared storage of food to help the weakest Christian innocents like children and elderly people of Christ. that need to eat…during the collapse coming.
    Amen Christ Jesus.
It’s not unfaithful to prepare for the collapse coming…just smart.
Your perspective is correct, except for the ignoring God’s warnings given to have food for others., Noah did prepare for the collapse and is our example.

  12. Leah

    No, I’m not a “pre-trib doctrine believer”.
I am a Word of God believer.
I didn’t say it was unfaithful to prepare, nor did I even imply that we should ignore God’s warnings.
We should be obedient to what the Lord tells us in all things.
The Holy Spirit will never tell us something contradictory to His written word.
You should re-read my unintentionally, long comment again.

I feel you though… you’ve been verbally, and spiritually attacked by many because you are preparing physically for these times.
The many, can be very cruel.
