Police Abusing the Homeless

I went to sleep around 11 PM at the latest and awoke at 2:22 AM from this dream. Lastly I remembered before writing this down that just this same day prior I had asked God,
“Why, of the triple repeating numbers that I keep seeing, is 222 the most common?” So there must be a significant correlation.

Here is the dream:

I am out in the woods somewhat, with highways and other parts of civilization intersecting. A police officer is escorting myself and a young girl from out of the woods to my family’s house because that is where I am leading, but the reason he follows us is because he says we are not carrying flashlights and must produce them (apparently this is some kind of alleged regulation maybe just for homeless i and he is enforcing it like curfew). I have never met this girl before but I quickly catch on that the police officer is deeply involved in harassing her for living in the woods.

The next thing that comes from his mouth is shocking: he tells me and other men present that if we just look at her things or notes for clues, we will figure out where her hiding spot is. Now why would I ever want to know her hiding spot? What would I possibly want to do with that information, let alone the riffraff of strange men around listening as well?

I lead the officer and this girl to my family’s house. It is night so no one is around while we go to the basement stair. She has a bed in the basement where she and I locate flashlights to satisfy the cop. But he is not satisfied. Next thing I know there are 6-8 more male cops present and all jamming into the basement stair cutting us off, making more strange comments and acting as though we are guilty of something even though we are doing what they ask and no one is suspected of anything.

I say to the lead cop: “Well, this is my home, and I live here, so why don’t I go get the owner of the house…”
He wasn’t happy with that. They all acted opposed to the idea and tried to stop me. I ignored them and went up the second stairs to the master bedroom. After knocking and entering I saw the mother sitting on the floor by a Christmas tree at the foot of the bed crying peacefully and father was in bed but they were both awake. They seemed heavily distracted by sentimental, nostalgic, and emotional matters and I did not even see them acknowledge the police. Also there were a few dogs dressed in Christmas pajamas wandering around the room. At this point the police melted out of the picture and I awoke.

Interpretation:
The ‘random’ introduction of Christmas themes and tears at the end of the dream signifies the sorrows that are coming to families and which are already here. Jesus warned us that in the end days, there will be great sorrow of all sorts including betrayal, Mat 24:8-10. We should avoid materialism in order to stay focused on what is truly important: the one lost sheep for which reason the Shepherd leaves the 99. Sacrifice is in order. We have to be strong and put away the past as well as the distractions of this world that compete with our focus on eternity.

We need to pray for our officials in authority to develop a conscience and care for their citizens instead of becoming more and more militarized.

Before you ever end up homeless, don’t bet on anything: learn to find food and shelter in any crisis without warning, before the crisis. You can be homeless or you can become a pro at camping and then you won’t ever feel homeless. Learn to be invisible! Blend in! Keep your life secure to people you can trust, not strangers with acronyms on their shirts or requirements for documentation and invasive questions. If you walk with God you don’t need anything but what He provides. Keep your life secure to people you can trust and ask Father before you use any welfare programs that require answering invasive questions or housing arrangements. If you walk with God you don’t need anything but what He provides.”

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
2 Peter 1:3-4
