Jeremiah 7:1-11 Open the Altar of the LORD

A message of the LORD to His people:
7 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 2 “Stand in the gate of the Lord's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the Lord, all you men of Judah who enter these gates to worship the Lord. 3 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place. 4 Do not trust in these deceptive words: ‘This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.’ 5 “For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly execute justice one with another, 6 if you do not oppress the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow, or shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not go after other gods to your own harm, 7 then I will let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave of old to your fathers forever. 8 “Behold, you trust in deceptive words to no avail. 9 Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, make offerings to Baal, and go after other gods that you have not known, 10 and then come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, ‘We are delivered!’—only to go on doing all these abominations? 11 Has this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I myself have seen it, declares the Lord. Jeremiah 7:1-11 My house shall be called a house of prayer…My house is the house of prayer- Jesus Matt. 21:13, Mark 11:17, Luke 19:46 My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations… Isaiah 56:7
To the beloved brothers and sisters, to elders and leaders of the churches…
Open up the altar for prayer! In your churches in your homes…
The altar of your surrendered heart is the gateway whereby you commune with Christ!
He hasn’t stopped knocking, will we hear Him? Rev. 3:20
Open the altar during your services, let the children of all ages come to the Good Shepherd…do not deny them!
Are we depending on the LORD and praying in Spirit for the battle wages against these souls?
Who is standing in the gap? Ezekiel 22:30
Do not rob the Father of reaching his children…Matt. 19:14
We are the ones who bear His name, we are also gatekeepers of the Shepherd’s pasture, open up the gate so the children may come and find rest for their souls.
Come to Me my children! -Jesus Christ Matt. 11:28-30
The LORD is not interested in our religion, He desires our hearts and trust and obedience. Psalm 51:7
If we have no burden for the lost souls, then that is a warning sign from the LORD to get right with Him!
Fast and pray!
Rend your hearts, not garments! Joel 2:13
Hold a repentance and prayer service…
Seeking and beholding His face is EVERYTHING! Psalm 27:4, Luke 10:42
Remove the stumbling blocks! Invite the One who prunes the branches into our services and families. Hebrews 12:13, John 15:1-8
Our services are not to please men but to worship and give glory to the LORD. Ephesians 6:6
We do not worship money, people, the clock, or a program but HIM!
To Him we all owe an account. Romans 14:12
“Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God.”
While we still yet have freedom to openly meet together, PRAY, REPENT and SEEK HIS FACE!
We will reap what we sow, if we sow to the flesh that is what we will reap. Galatians 6:7-10
If we sow to the Holy Spirit, we will reap a harvest of good fruit of eternal life pleasing to the Father…
Who are the “least of these” in the your land?
Find your neighbors and bless them in the LORD…feed them, clothe them, give them the Word, pray with them
And love them…Isaiah 58:6-11
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:14
Believers, Engage! Matt. 25:31-46
The LORD is counting on us! Ephesians 2:10
Do we believe our God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly beyond all we could ask or imagine? Ephesians 3:17-21
Or have we grown complacent and lukewarm….Rev. 3:16
There are powerful blessings and heavenly rewards given to us for obedience and severe consequences for ignoring His commands.
Be a candle on a lampstand for the LORD or get spit out! Rev. 3:14-22, Rev. 2:5
Jesus Christ- Yeshua HaMasciah- is the same, yesterday, and tomorrow….Hebrews 13:8
There is no stopping the Lion of Judah, the Holy Lamb of God…
By the witness of the Holy Spirit, seek His face in “sackcloths and ashes” and see what His will is
Receive the burden of His heart….Psalm 37:4
May our spirits be absolutely yielded to Him, tune out the world and affix your heart and mind
And attention on the LORD…Hebrews 12:1-2
O brothers and sisters,
Repent, Pray, Seek His Holy Face and LIVE! Psalm 27:8
