What cornerstone and building block is missing or underdeveloped in my life? What do I need to strengthen and fortify it? What needs to be accomplished to make the pile-on deeper, more steady to keep the foundation sturdy?
You are that foundation I must adhere to and pay attention to as I grow in Christ. Without that cornerstone I become weak, unsteady, and unable to stand. No matter where I go and what I do I need the stability and foundation that keeps me adhering to you.
My roots in you become stronger as I follow your lead, pay attention to the countenance you provided, thru your Earthly stay and Words. I make sure I am embedded in this cornerstone you have provided and proceed with caution that I am firmly affixed in you before building further the housing I currently dwell in. I make sure the flesh is sifted out while the spirit envelopes each breath I take.
I become more like you as each component is added to the mix, in the correct order. There is nothing we cannot do together as we become one in spirit and love.
I thank you for your attention to all details for the building blocks of my life are detailed in the schematics you had provided long ago.
Continue to provide instructions as I finish the housing and temple, I dwell in. For I grow in you, as my house I dwell in, is constructed.
Note:
(I open the bible at random and Luke 8:5-8 &
Luke 8:11-15 is in my view. I read that just a few days ago and open another page at random. Now I think and realize, that Luke is what the Lord wanted referenced in this writing)
Luke 8:5-8 KJV
5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Luke 8:11-15 KJV
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
