Have you ever had a test and had no idea of how you did on it. Have you ever walked the path of life and knew not what direction you were taking? Have you ever wondered why you were put on Earth and what your assignment was?
Life’s questions are part of an answer, that must be worked out while participating in life.
Have you ever done something for God and wanted to know if it was done to his satisfaction? But no answer came. No “grade” was given. Maybe what God is looking for is the hearts barometer. Did you try with all your strength, did you do the best you could, did you do it for others or for yourself?
Maybe this is what we should focus on, rather than if it was a “A Performance” worth of an Academy Award.
Intent, rather than perfection, might be most important in the long run. Let the heart bring you to where you need to go. Don’t be bogged down with perfection, but instead intention. Know that God sees your heart more than he sees the outcome.
