Ignoring God leads to a downward spiral. What makes a reprobate mind? Romans 1:20-32 Once you reject the light-darkness will rule. To the degree you reject the light is the degree of darkness you walk in. They knew God but rejected the light. He gave them over to demonic influence and the lust of their hearts, the pride of life. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie.
First of all it’s not recognizing God. Their understanding becomes darkened. They then think they’re wise because they have no light to tell them they’re wrong. They begin to lust in their hearts. They begin to misuse and dishonor their bodies amongst themselves. They begin believing a lie. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie. So they worshipped the creature instead of their Creator. God have them up to vile passions. And they did not like to retain God in their knowledge. (I don’t like the way God designed us). If I don’t accept the Laws of Creation- that gives them up to vile passion. God giving them over to demonic influence.
They don’t accept the ways of God. God said “If you’re not going to follow My ways, I’ll give you over to the ways you want to follow. You’ll get the fruit of what you’re following. Demonic influence instead of heavenly influence. Wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, envy, murder, strife, defeat, evil mindedness, gossiping, backbiting, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventor of evil things, disobedience to parents, un discerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful. If you have any of those in your heart? You’re still on that same track.
You have to repent of those things. Left unchecked? That’s where those things lead to greater lawlessness. Or APPROVE of those who practice them!!! To approve of homosexuality is a sin! We’re in a time we’re being robbed of something because of vain philosophies. We’re at a point now where our theology is being based on philosophy instead of being based upon the scripture.
