On 1/2/2021 the Lord gave me a dream where I was working in an office opening packages. When I went to open one package, a cardboard cutout of a black cat fell out. Later as I was walking through the building, I noticed a woman’s decapitated head sitting on the floor! And that severed head had an eerie resemblance to the comedian, Cathy G_r_i_f_f_i_n. End of dream.
Do you remember seeing that gruesome picture of Cathy G_r_i_f_f_i_n holding up a Donald T_r_u_m_p mask, made to look like the severed head of President T_r_u_m_p on social media? Well, by using the decapitated Cathy look-alike, I knew the Lord was referring to the Antichrist spirit. The one that comes to steal, kill and destroy. And the black cat represented the spirit of witchcraft. So, he was reminding me of a time when I was deceived by a false prophet, operating in the Antichrist spirit, who came against me using witchcraft.
Very early in my walk with the Lord (2015), I came across a prophetic website of a woman who I will call Linda S (not her real name). She described herself as a “Prophet of God”, a “seer” and a “teacher”. I began donating to her ministry shortly after I got saved. Whenever I would donate, she would send me a thank you letter that often had a personal prophetic word for me handwritten across the bottom. Once she even sent me a cardboard bookmark that looked homemade. Her personal words seemed to come true with great accuracy, so at the time I trusted her.
On 10/23/2018 I saw a vision of a giant bee. Right afterward I had a dream where I saw my carpet literally covered with worms. End of dream. Afterwards, I pondered the bee vison and the worms dream, but was not sure what the Lord was trying to tell me. Was He warning me of spiritual attack?
On 12/26/2018 I heard the Holy Spirit say the word “LEVIATHAN”. Then I had a dream where I was in a classroom with other students. The teacher did a dance move and the students would imitate her move. One move the teacher did was to take a few steps backward and wave her arms like a snake. End of dream. At the time I did not understand what the dream meant, but I felt it was a warning of some sort. Because she was moving backwards and acting snake-like, I felt that what the teacher was doing was somehow satanic. But I had no idea who the teacher could possibly be.
In early 2019, Linda S put out a podcast saying that the Lord had given her a vision of a bee, and that the bee represented the prophet Debra, whose name actually means bee. She explained that the prophet Debra actually helped lead the Israelites to victory against the enemy. Then she said that the Lord had told her that she, Linda, was a general in the army of the Lord, and that he wanted her to start a prayer group of prayer warriors to pray for the President. And that she was looking for others to join this prayer group. She said that if we wanted to join, we needed to fill out a questionnaire. Specifically, she wanted to know what role we preferred – prayer warrior, or leader/trainer, or support person. And she wanted to know why we wanted to participate.
I applied and requested a leadership position, primarily because I wanted access to the training materials on spiritual warfare. For the question on why I wanted to participate, I responded “My heart is for the lost, homeless, oppressed, sick and broken. That would be my focus, not T_r_u_m_p”. Her email response is below:
Linda: God is asking us to pray in His Will for America AS IT WILL BE DONE THROUGH PRES. T_R_U_M_P. He did NOT asking us or you to judge the President’s character or anything else about him. If the Lord tells us to pray for Pres. T_r_u_m_p to be blessed and prospered, we WILL be praying that, WHATEVER the Lord tells us to pray for Pres. T_r_u_m_p, we will be praying THAT. Let me make something very clear. This Prayer Initiative is not about your agenda, it is about God’s agenda. You could never be a leader in this group since it is clear you are only interested in your own agenda, not submitting to God’s Will. May He refine you until you can overcome that.
Since you have made it clear you are not interested in praying God’s Agenda, but praying your own, you are free to do that. But you have been removed from ____ _____ ________ and all related training.
Me: I am truly interested in praying the Lord’s will. You have judged me incorrectly. I forgive you.
Linda: I judged you by your own words, Dana. You are refusing to pray what God is asking.
Me: I ask the Lord constantly what His will is and I align myself to it. Sometimes I don’t always know what He wants me to do. And sometimes I am not very eloquent. I just wish you would not judge me so quickly. I feel strongly that I need your training so I can fight for my family and protect them.
Linda: I’m sorry but your heart would not be in unity with this Army and it is the power of unity He wants us to pray in. This is an area you need to seek the Lord on your own about as pridefulness will get you repeated trips into the wilderness, just as it did me long ago. People who are steeped in pride will be left behind in the horrors to come to be refined THAT way and that is something you do not want. My job is to raise up this Army and make it the best it can be. i can train people to pray who are humble, but you are not there yet. If you throw yourself on God’s Mercy, He will help you with that, but you cannot be involved in this.
I must admit I was taken aback and shocked at her response. Did she just accuse me of not doing the Lord’s will? And did she just say that my pridefulness would get me repeated trips to the wilderness? And that because I was steeped in pride, I would be left behind in the horrors to be refined THAT way?
Then I began seeking the Lord about the incident. On 2/5/2019, I heard the Holy Spirit say “YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUIT.” Later I heard “JUDGE NOT, THAT YOU BE NOT JUDGED.” I looked up the “you will know them by their fruit” passage in Matthew 7. That passage refers to false prophets. Then I thought about Galatians 5 where it says “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” I certainly did not feel the “fruit of the Spirit” from Linda’s words, only condemnation and accusation.
On 2/10/2019, I asked God to reveal to me any people who wished to harm me or hurt me. I asked for their first and last name, the spirit behind the attack, and the nature of the attack. The next morning around 3 AM I heard the Holy Spirit say ###### ##### (Linda S’s real name), then “SPIRIT OF THE ANTICHRIST” and then “…AND EVERY HIGH THING THAT EXALTS ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD…” Whoa! I was in complete shock.
I immediately threw out all of her books and all “prophetic words” that I had printed off from her website. And I asked the Lord to forgive me for believing and sharing her “prophetic words” and books with others. And I stopped making monthly donations to her ministry. And I started to do spiritual warfare against the spirit of the antichrist. I would say “I BIND the spirit of the antichrist coming against me and mine in the name of Jesus. I break that spirit off of me and mine and command it to depart from us in the name of Jesus. I cancel all assignments sent by the enemy against me and mine and I declare no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I forbid any retaliation by the enemy against me or mine in the name of Jesus.” And because she had a sizeable number of Christians who were following her prophetic teachings, I began to pray for them. “Lord, please reveal the true intentions of Linda S’s heart to those who follow her website. Give them eyes to see and ears to hear the truth in the name of Jesus.”
I also realized that the Lord had warned me on at least two separate occasions about her. Once in October with the bee vision and the worm dream. The bee in the vision was referring to Linda and the worms denoted the serpent, also known as Leviathan. Then He warned me again in December, with the dream about the teacher who waved her arms like a snake. So He was trying to protect me, but I just did not know what He was saying to me at the time. It was only in retrospect that I understood His warnings.
Then I remembered another prophet that Linda S had extolled in her podcasts, who I will call Jim D (not his real name). Jim had been heavily involved in the occult for many, many years and had supposedly seen the error of his ways, switched sides, and was now working for Jesus. I had purchased one of his books thinking he would have some inside scoop on how to defeat the enemy. After checking out his book, I wondered if he was legitimate. On 2/15/2019 I asked the Lord if I could trust this Jim D person. Immediately the Lord gave me a vision of a snake hiding in shag carpet. End of vision. I interpreted this to mean that Jim D was not who he was pretending to be. So I returned his book the next day.
Frankly, I am embarrassed to mention these incidents, but they happened and I did learn a lot from them. There are many, many so called prophets out there who prey on new Christians and on those who don’t read their bible and on those who don’t know how to hear from God themselves. Matthew 24 warns over and over again about not letting anyone deceive you. It says that in the last days many false Christs and false prophets would arise three times in that one chapter. It is my sincere hope that by telling of my experiences with these charlatans, others will not fall into the same traps that I did.
