God also have needs and desires like us

Good morning brothers and sisters.
This morning 6 Feb 2020 whilst I was praying I heard the Lord says:
“You feed me. I am also alone and in pain.”
For a moment I was lost and thought to test the spirit when the Lord reminded me about a short video I watched last night of David Wilkerson. Where Pastor David speaks that not only does Jesus feeds him but also the people in his church feeds him. How much he need and appreciate that.
The Lord leads me to Isaiah 66 vers 1.
This says the Lord. The Heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool: Where is the house that you build unto me? And where is the place of my rest?
Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto nations.
Can you imagine how much our Lord hurts and cry, seeing all the evil in this world? Abortions, murders, idols, darkness at work. Destroying His creation.
God is not only our Father and love but also has needs, emotions and desires. We see that reflected in our Lord Jesus when He was walking on earth. Lord Jesus was lonely, outcast, betrayed, mocked, cried bitterly for Lazarus. Sorrow, sympathy and compassion. A perfect sinless LOVING unselfish man that gave His life for us so that we as believers will not perish but live for eternity with Him.
God also needs us and longs for us. To spend more time with Him. He want us to be His little children. That is why He created us in the first place. To be with Him, one big family.
Every time we pray we feed our Lord.  At times we might be self centred, only thinking about our own needs and desires. Our pain. We don’t ask ourselves enough what does God need and want from us? What will please Him today. By praying for others we also feed His flock.
Please note I’m not here to judge, i am guilty and selfish. This revelation opened my eyes. But today I’m saying:” I want to do something for YOU my Lord!”
We could feed our Lord with more worship and love. Not just selfish requests. Just telling our Lord we love Him is different from actually doing something for Him and acting on it. Spreading His word, gospel, to be a good example and bringing more children to His Kingdom.
Food for thought, was certainly to me.
God bless and much love.
Your sister, Cornell de Beer
