The Scriptures:

Genesis 6:4

*There were GIANTS (Nephilim) in the earth in those days;
AND ALSO AFTER THAT,
when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men,
and they bare children to them,
the same became mighty men which were of old,
men of renown.

Genesis 14:5

In the fourteenth year Chedorlaomer and the kings that were with him, came and defeated the Rephaim (giants) in Ashteroth-karnaim and the Zuzim in Ham and the Emim in Shaveh-kiriathaim.

Numbers 13:22

When they had gone up into the Negev, they came to Hebron where Ahiman, Sheshai and Talmai, the descendants of Anak (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim) were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)

Numbers 13:32-33

*32 So they spread a negative report to the Israelites about the land that they had scouted. They said, “The land that we explored and scouted is a land that eats up its inhabitants. All the people we saw in the land were huge. 33 We saw there the Nephilim [giants] In our own eyes we seemed like grasshoppers. We seemed like grasshoppers in their eyes too.

Deuteronomy 2:10
“The Emims (giants) dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims (giants); Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims (giants); but the Moabites call them Emims.”

Deuteronomy 2:20-21
20 (That also was accounted a land of giants (Rephaim) : giants (Rephaim) dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims; 21 A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the Lord destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead

“For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits (13.5 feet or 4.1 meters) was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.”

Deuteronomy 9:2

A people great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, whom you know and of whom you have heard it said, ‘Who can stand before the sons of Anak?’

Joshua 11:21

Then Joshua came at that time and cut off the Anakim from the hill country, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab and from all the hill country of Judah and from all the hill country of Israel. Joshua utterly destroyed them with their cities.

*Joshua 14:12

Now then, give me this hill country about which the Lord spoke on that day, for you heard on that day that Anakim were there, with great fortified cities; perhaps the Lord will be with me, and I will drive them out as the Lord has spoken.

Joshua 14:15

Now the name of Hebron was formerly Kiriath-arba; for Arba was the greatest man among the Anakim. Then the land had rest from war.

Joshua 15:13-14

Now he gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh a portion among the sons of Judah, according to the command of the Lord to Joshua, namely, Kiriath-arba, Arba being the father of Anak (that is, Hebron). Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak: Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, the children of Anak.

All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (he alone was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); for Moses struck them and dispossessed them.

Then they gave Hebron to Caleb, as Moses had promised; and he drove out from there the three sons of Anak.

The story of David and Goliath

*1 Samuel 17:4

Then a champion came out from the armies of the Philistines named Goliath, from Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. (somewhere between 9.5 to 10.5 feet or 2.9-3.2 meters)

1 Samuel 17:49-50

And David put his hand into his bag and took from it a stone and slung it, and struck the Philistine on his forehead. And the stone sank into his forehead, so that he fell on his face to the ground. Thus David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and he struck the Philistine and killed him; but there was no sword in David’s hand.

*2 Samuel 21:19-22

19 And there was again war with the Philistines at Gob, and Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim, the Bethlehemite, struck down Goliath the Gittite, the shaft of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam. 20 And there was again war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature, who had six fingers on each hand, and six toes on each foot, twenty-four in number, and he also was descended from the giants. 21 And when he taunted Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimei, David’s brother, struck him down. 22 These four were descended from the giants in Gath, and they fell by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants.

*1 Chronicles 20:4-6

Now it came about after this, that war broke out at Gezer with the Philistines; then Sibbecai the Hushathite killed Sippai, one of the descendants of the giants, and they were subdued. And there was war with the Philistines again, and Elhanan the son of Jair killed Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the shaft of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam. (approximately 16-18 feet or 14.9-15.5 meters long and 2.5 inches or 6.35 cm thick. His spear’s head weighed 600 shekels of iron [1 Sam 17:7] 15-18 lbs or 6.8-8.2 kg) Again there was war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature who had twenty-four fingers and toes, six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot; and he also was descended from the giants.

1 Chronicles 20:8

These were descended from the giants in Gath, and they fell by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants.

*Amos 2:9

Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, though his height was like the height of cedars (60-120 feet or 20-40 meters) and he was strong as the oaks; I even destroyed his fruit above and his root below.

*Luke 21:25-26

25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”

*Revelation 6:12-14 King James Version (KJV)

12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day. (Refers to Enoch)

Enoch 18:11. And I saw a deep abyss, with columns ⌈⌈of heavenly fire, and among them I saw columns⌉⌉ of fire fall, which were beyond measure alike towards the height and towards the depth. 12. And beyond that abyss I saw a place which had no firmament of the heaven above, and no firmly founded earth beneath it: there was no water upon it, and no birds, but it was a waste and horrible place. 13. I saw there seven stars like great burning mountains, and to me, when I inquired regarding them, 14. The angel said: ‘This place is the end of heaven and earth: this has become a prison for the stars and the host of heaven. 15. And the stars which roll over the fire are they which have transgressed the commandment of the Lord in the beginning of their rising, because they did not come forth at their appointed times. 16. And He was wroth with them, and bound them till the time when their guilt should be consummated.

*Enoch 19:1-3

And Uriel said to me: ‘Here shall stand the angels who have connected themselves with women, and their spirits assuming many different forms are defiling mankind and shall lead them astray into sacrificing to demons ⌈⌈as gods⌉⌉, (here shall they stand,) till ⌈⌈the day of⌉⌉ the great judgment in which they shall be judged till they are made an end of. 2. And the women also of the angels who went astray shall become sirens.’ 3. And I, Enoch, alone saw the vision, the ends of all things: and no man shall see as I have seen.

*Revelation 9:13-15

13 Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.
