Our Heavenly Father’s plans began prior to placing each of us in our mother’s womb. As He has given each of us unique personalities and gifting specific to His plans & purpose for His Kingdom. (Pslam 22:10)
Our favor from The Father is given when we walk in humility. Many in the Kingdom family carry a “false humility” and this must be addressed at this late hour. I heard The Father say, My first Fruits cannot have false humility. Please do not dismiss this word given from The Father. He has been preparing and teaching me for awhile about this post, so we are not caught unaware like the 10 virgins. We have an amazing God, he loves us all so much.
Knowing this, the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy our belief in the truth. (John 10:10) Our enemy’s desire is to cause each of us to lose sight of God’s purpose in our life. Satan is always in the details, but he plays for keeps. Meaning, if you come in agreement with him, he has legions of demons waiting at your “gate” (mind) to take possession.
Satan gains a foothold through fear, falsehood, trauma, injustice and betrayal and numerous other wounding techniques which ultimately become a stronghold for the demonic.
Matthew talks about a victim spirit and how you can be devoured and torn to pieces by a predator. Do not give that which is holy to the dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn and tear you in pieces. Matthew 7:6
The holy is our honor and dignity which God warns not to touch “My anointed” by physical or verbal abuse. This spirit I am referring to is the “ victim spirit”. Any person who has been violated in some way and has failed to process the experience properly becomes infected by the demonic. They unintentionally throw their pearls before swine giving the demonic permission to tear them to pieces.
This victim spirit is not only one who has been abused, but one who BELIEVES the lies the devil is whispering, and thereby allowing this demonic influence to share their lives. This victim can always explain why it’s right for things to be wrong. This person embraces the spirit and the pattern reoccurs over and over.
After being traumatically victimized the victim’s thinking becomes polluted, developing false conclusions and convictions. This is expressed in disturbing behaviors like lying, violence, chemical abuse, overeating, sexual perversions, phobias, sickness, excessive spending or sloth etc.
This “victim spirit” can refer to any number of demonic hosts who are attracted to and desire to attach themselves to a person who is in agreement with the lies and behaviors. The unseen world of darkness is always looking for opportunities to torment anyone outside truth.
But the men would not listen to him. So the man took his concubine and forces her forth to them, and they had intercourse with her and abused her all the night until morning. And when the dawn began to break, they let her go.” Judges 19:25
When the victim is wounded these doors or gates open to darkness creating cycles of events to keep the person in chains to the enemy. The victims are often unable to sleep battling most the night being abused until morning stated in Judges. They always settle for less, have little or no joy, they are dishonored and disrespected so they never walks in the honor that God has called them. Many continue this cycle through destruction, injustice, malpractice, defilement and abuse.
The definition of “victim” defined in the dictionary
A living being offered as a living sacrifice;
An individual injured or killed by disease or accident;
A person cheated, fooled, or injured (a victim of circumstances or “accident prone”)
Those living under the ‘victim spirit” :
• They cannot receive nurturing, comfort or compliments, because they feel unworthy.
• Their total mind set revolves around enabling their predator and keeping the cycle going.
• They often apologize for other people’s pain, when someone around them is unhappy, even though it is usually not their fault.
Are you getting a quickening from the Holy Spirit? Does anything written in my post so far resonate or seem familiar?
If yes, The Holy Spirit is using me to speak to you. You are not reading this my mistake.
Saints, we must surrender everything at this hour. Freedom to enter the Holy Gates means seriously being honest with ourselves.
Here are some Tell-Tale-Signs You maybe entertaining the “victim spirit” .
Don’t be ashamed, until now it has been hidden from you.
If so, don’t worry, Jesus is our healer. Don’t be afraid. I have been delivered from many demonic strongholds. Saints, we live in a fallen world, full of snares and traps.
First off, Watch your speech. Do you usually take every opportunity to share your troubles and negativity with others? Even strangers?
Are you extremely self-centered? Victims are very self-absorbed with all their issues and problems.
Can you sit with others for long hours talking, while it never occurred to you to ask anything about their life.
Do you complain about everything? While never accepting any blame?
You don’t take blame because nothing really is your fault.
Mostly, because you feel cheated and almost always feel like you are taken advantage of.
You aren’t allowed to make decisions?
Much of the time, You feel lied to and violated?
Do You feel powerless and trapped unable to change the outcome?
Do You feel anger, sometimes at the other’s, but mostly towards yourself because you knew better for being a victim. Even condemning yourself?
Mostly, you feel helpless and unable to change the outcome. No matter the circumstances?
If you answered yes to any of the questions, you are carrying the victim spirit.

This spirit will cause the victim to hold on to every injustice, every hurt, every pain and refuse to let it go . . . Just to keep them in chains.
Can I humbly suggest that living as a victim may have begun quite innocently?
You didn’t know this spirit furnished a “false humility” robbing you of your dignity, respect and honor.
Let’s look at what does The Word say about the victim spirit?
Saul had every opportunity to be a huge success as the first king of Israel. He was anointed by Israel’s most anointed prophet Samuel. He was mentored in decision-making by Samuel. He was taller than everyone else. He came from a prestigious family. He was a tremendous warrior and general as Israel never lost a battle under his leadership (until his last battle).
But the Bible records that all of his life Saul was negatively influenced by a spirit. You will remember that David, prior to killing Goliath, would play his harp to calm down the spirit that affected Saul. I believe this spirit was the “victim spirit”. It showed itself several times, including early on in Saul’s reign as seen in this story;
Saul remained at Gilgal, and all the troops with him were quaking with fear. 8 He waited seven days, the time set by Samuel; but Samuel did not come to Gilgal, and Saul’s men began to scatter. 9 So he said, “Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” And Saul offered up the burnt offering. 10 Just as he finished making the offering, Samuel arrived, and Saul went out to greet him. 11 “What have you done?” asked Samuel. Saul replied, “When I saw that the men were scattering, and that you did not come at the set time, and that the Philistines were assembling at Mikmash, 12 I thought, ‘Now the Philistines will come down against me at Gilgal, and I have not sought the Lord’s favor.’ So I felt compelled to offer the burnt offering.” 13 “You have done a foolish thing,” Samuel said. “You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time. 14 But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him ruler of his people because you have not kept the Lord’s command.” (NIV)1 Samuel 13: 7
Saul takes no responsibility for his actions. He blames others for his disobedience. Specifically, he blames Samuel the prophet.
“You did not come at the set time” (vs. 11)
“So I felt compelled to offer the burnt offering.” (vs. 12)
His excuses for bad behavior are all about him. He is the victim.
“When I saw that the men were scattering” (vs. 11)
I thought, ‘Now the Philistines will come down against me at Gilgal” (vs. 12)
“I have not sought the Lord’s favor.’ (vs. 12)
So I felt compelled to offer the burnt offering.” (vs. 12)
We also have many examples in The Word of those who have overcome the victim spirit. Overcomers, look inward to improve. They ask questions and pray The Father to reveal their character flaws, actions or attitudes that are hidden through pride and wounding. Overcomers look to The Father for revelation and inspiration regarding their circumstances.
Joseph is quick to acknowledge God for all the favor he lived in, for all the breakthroughs that have come his way.
If there is a person who could have blamed others for his circumstances it is Paul. Look at his negative resume of what happened in his life.
I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. 24 Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, 26 I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my fellow Jews, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false believers. 27 I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. 28 Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches. (NIV)2 Corinthians 11: 23
Paul could have blamed others. He could have blamed the Lord, he could have blamed the weather. He could have blamed the circumstances. But no; he revels in it. He knows that blaming others would be foolish talk. To live like a victim was crazy thinking.
Whatever anyone else dares to boast about – I am speaking as a fool – I also dare to boast about. 22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they Abraham’s descendants? So am I. 23 Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) 2 Corinthians 11: 21
Later in Paul’s life while in a Roman jail, he reflects on all the events of his life. Many of us would have taken Paul’s list of bad stuff as a justification to be a victim. But not Paul.
Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. 13 As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. 14 And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear. (NIV)Philippians 1: 12
Paul knew Biblical truths that we can learn from. We need to adopt these principles to get out of the victim mentality and into overcome mode.
Jesus modeled being an overcomer.
In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (NIV) John 16:33
John the apostle knew he was an overcomer and invited us to join him.
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (NIV)1 John 4:4
Paul knew his position and perspective. Seated in heavenly places – a ruler not under the feet of Satan or anyone else!
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. (NIV)Colossians 3:1
Paul knew how to train his mind to think right so that he would make good and godly decisions.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (NIV) Romans 12:2
GOOD news Saints, living with a victim spirit is optional.
Once it’s identified it can be EVICTED!!
Your Freedom requires God’s Power.
God delights to make His power available to us, but we must meet His Kingdom objectives. He is not interested in helping us to just survive. He wants to partner with us, so we may become part of His Vine.
He will release His Power through us as we walk in His Will and truth. It is vital to receive freedom and deliverance, we MUST walk out in truth even when it uncomfortable.
These deliberate choices to override your FEELINGS and embrace God’s truth is the true embodiment of Jesus Christ HIMSELF and will bring healing and the devils will flee.
To walk in freedom from the victim spirit:
1. First find out what opened the door. It could have been abandonment, rape, war, slavery, fraud, political betrayal, basically anything outside the kingdom of God. Sometimes, it is generational and one or more of your ancestors could have opened the door.
2. Secondly, the gate of your mind is generally stronger than the demon. The demonic is easily evicted with the power and authority we have in Christ. It is usually the victim’s mindset that needs replaced with the TRUTH of who you are in Yahshua.
3. Lastly, the mind renewal is accomplished through inner healing, a process of having the Holy Spirit expose the lie you believe and speak the TRUTH which sets you FREE. Through the exposure, the blood of Jesus washes over you in healing the wound(s).
Check out the promise in Ezekiel 34:28-29
28 And they shall no longer be a prey for the nations, nor shall beasts of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and no one shall make them afraid. 29 I will raise up for them a garden[a] of renown, and they shall no longer be consumed with hunger in the land, nor bear the shame of the Gentiles anymore.
Once you are free and walking in your ordained fullness given by The Father, the beasts of the land cannot devour you. You dwell safely under The Father and He restores your boundaries, your respect, your honor, your realty, your ministry, your values, your joy and your blessings.
Yes, blessings, once we obediently abide in Christ, without iniquities, we are given our inheritance. Our inheritance or amazing gifts come in many forms and specifically mentioned in blessings spoken in Deuteronomy 28. We have an amazing GOD!

Father, I ask you to please hold my hand and walk me all the way back throughout my life to each place and situation where I was victimized.
Show me where my forefathers had opened up doors to the victim spirit and where I entered in the same snare.
I ask Your Holy Spirit to reveal any lies, stronghold and root of this victim spirit in my life. While revealing Truth, shine Your light upon me to establish who I am in Christ though the truth of God’s Word. Help me to rise up with my God given authority to take dominion over these entities as you have ordained from the beginning of time.
Father, forgive me for blaming others through my actions, my words, my choices and circumstances. I forgive myself for being deceived into false humility and coming into agreement with the victim spirit.
I stand upon the complete work of the cross at Calvary and take up my authority in the Almighty name of Jesus Christ. I take authority over every victim spirit as well as every other demonic spirit that has been working in agreement against me and my family in the Name of Jesus. I bind the spirit and send it to the footstool of Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
Yahweh, please break every chain of the victim spirit as well as every other demonic spirit that has chained me to places of despair and hopelessness.
I repent Father for coming into agreement with any lie(s) that allowed the demonic pit open over my life. I command the demonic entities to leave and to never to return again. Please destroy these places of torment and torture that have been used in mine and my family’s lives for so many years.
Father, please remove all the labels that were placed over me, marking me in the spirit realm to be a victim wherever I go. These labels drew victims and predator spirits to harass me in so many areas of my life.
I ask you Yahweh to burn these labels now by your Holy Spirit Fire.
Father, please strengthen me to stand in your power as your son/daughter. Please re-establish Godly boundaries all around me where my boundaries have been violated for so many years. I choose to no longer live as a victim. I choose to be led by your Holy Spirit and walk in your fullness that was purchased for me through the power of the cross.
I choose to live my life as a child of the most high God. I am seated in heavenly places with Christ. I am not the tail but the head. I have the mind of Jesus. I align my will to the will of The Highest God. I am an overcomer! In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
