"Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life" (I Timothy 6:19).

The hour is extremely late. We are closer to the return of The Lord than we have ever been before. You can see the signs everywhere. If you were to take where things were twenty years ago and project them to today, you would be amazed at how much this world has changed — and America has changed more than any other place in the world. Things have happened in this nation that no one would have ever thought would have occurred. Civil war is now brewing. Babylon, Babylon is falling. All is lining itself up and falling into place, where “……………………The kingdoms of this world…………………….” (Revelation 11: 15), become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ! We are living in the last of the last days — the time of the end — as spoken by the Prophets. We are living at the pinnacle of the coming of The Lord Jesus Christ.

This message is a long time coming. With God’s leading, I’ve composed many over the years, and this word has been in my heart all the while. It’s now time to bring it forth.

To begin, we will start at the end, and there, we will also finish. The second to the last Scripture in our Holy Bible is, “He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus (Revelation 22: 20). At the very end of The Word of God, Jesus compels us to call out for His return! He exhorts us to so desire His Appearing, that it is — and ever shall be — all that is on our hearts and minds!

Yea, saith The Spirit, the time of My Coming is at hand. The hour is so very late, yet so many are not looking for the return of the Son of Man. Yea, their hearts are set on worldly desires and pursuits. They are set on following after things which do not profit. They are set on following after fables and that which leads to destruction. Their hearts are set on following after the things of this world and it will not profit them in the day of judgment. Men have chosen to go their own ways. They have chosen the way of the backslider and it will not profit them in the day that The Lord judges the hearts of all men — the day that He makes up His jewels and spares His own as a Father spares His son. This hour is now! It is now! It has been coming, but it is now! The hour is so very late, yet few can see beyond the hope of their own lives, which is not founded on Me. Rest in The Hands of The Living God! Rest in The Hands of The Living God! Rest in The Hands of The Living God! Yea, the hour is so late, yet few see it. Few have eyes to see and ears to hear what The Spirit is saying to the Churches.

This hour is late. This hour is upon us. This hour is even past due, but this hour is now! A time of great tribulation will unfold, and who will be able to stand — a time like none other — a time when men’s hearts will fail them for fear, for seeing the things which are coming on the earth. This is the hour of Jacob’s trouble and He will be demanded a recompense. The time is upon us. The hour is upon us. Make straight the way of The Lord! Do not look to the right. Do not look to the left! Look only forward unto Jesus Christ, The Author and Finisher of your faith.

This hour is near, yet many do not see it. They are caught up in the cares and affairs of this life and God is demanded a recompense. This is a time like none other. It is the time of the end. Few are looking and longing for the return of The Son of Man.

Yet, Christ IS Coming! We are told in Scripture when He will come, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” (Matthew 24: 29-31).

This is the time when Christ will come for and gather His people. This is our blessed hope, when we will see, “…………………….the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” (Titus 2: 13). Jesus tells us that this will occur “Immediately after the tribulation of those days……………………….” (Matthew 24: 29). He refers to this time a few verses earlier, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matthew 24: 21-22).

Were it not for the elect, no one would be saved. Jesus makes it clear that He will shorten the days so that we will be left standing. At the appointed time, He will gather His people and so shall we ever be with The Lord.

As we draw near to His Coming, the tribulations will ensue. As things become more difficult, as tribulation engulfs the world, God’s people will cry out for Jesus to come!

As the sufferings — sorrows — testings — and tribulations become more intense — so will on the lips of God’s people be, “Even So, Come, Lord Jesus”! It is no coincidence that this Scripture is found at the end of our Bibles, as this will be the plea of His people when He comes. The Word of God exhorts us that a crown of righteousness will be given, “…………………unto all them also that love His appearing” (2 Timothy 4: 8).

Our cry will be for Jesus to come and deliver us from this cruel and sin sick world. All will have been stripped away, as we call on THE ONLY HOPE we have! JESUS IS OUR ONLY HOPE!

As the tribulations unfold, pray for the peace of God and joy of the Lord, asking for The Lord’s help. Let the joy and peace that you have overcome any sorrow. Ask The Lord to give you His All Sufficient Grace!

Let our focus be on Jesus. Let us not be caught up in the cares and affairs of this life, “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier” (2 Timothy 2: 3-4). “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares” (Luke 21: 34).

Let the cry on our lips be, Even So, Come, Lord Jesus!

Blessings to you all in The Name of Jesus Christ Our Lord!
