Psalm 118 :29 "O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever"
I was spending time with the Lord just now , thanking Him for all He’s done for me throughout my life and for His mercy and His Love
towards me.
I was thinking back on all the years – Good and bad and all he has brought me through.
I’d purposed in my heart beforehand to really delight myself in Him as scripture tells us too. Not that I don’t !
I just wanted to really find an extra special time in Him. – You know to go deeper.
So, I turned on a favorite sermon and then some music. I began thanking Him for being there for me and carrying me through life
when I began to remember certain things . Times in my past that don’t like to really talk about, I felt the Lord tell me to share and to encourage people who are struggling to hold on
and that you can make it. I know the trials can be severe but God is still so good .
I don’t know who you are but God sent me to tell you that He loves you and He has a way planned for you out of all the darkness ;
if you will trust Him and take His hand. Do this , literally take His hand today and don’t let go.
Trust Him to protect you from ALL evil.
Know the scripture , which is God’s law , states that to die is GAIN. Did you know that the Lord can take away all of the pain ?
The things you fear , are not needed to be feared. We are to fear no earthly man. Only fear the Lord.
“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain” Philliapians 1:21
I don’t want to focus so much on my testimony – it would take a very long time but I want to focus on encouraging whoever this is for.
I will say , that I’ve been through alot in life. I think most people have in one way or another but I was remembering one instance in particular in prayer today of when I was about 8 or 9 years old and my dad was mad at me and started telling me I was a zero ( he’d always hold his fingers up in a zero when he told me this) and that I’d never amount to anything. That I was a whore who belonged out on the street. He was extremely abusive. He would tell me he was going to kill me . That he never loved us. That he hated us. He would always say – I hate you. Never really heard , I love you. He would always tell me that I did terrible at whatever project I brought home or anything I was doing. All kinds of abuse .
I could go on and on. At 13 years old I tried to commit suicide. I was really crying out for help to be honest but I was very close to being successful I was told.
That is an extremely small portion of what has been my life . I didn’t really want to say anything but I felt the Lord tell me that someone is in trouble. That someone is really hurting and I wanted to give you a small portion of my pain and what I’ve been through. I don’t know what’s going on anymore than that but I want to tell you that Jesus loves you and he’s heard every cry. No matter your sins . No matter what you’ve done or been through , Jesus LOVES YOU. He cares for you and He will help you . Did you know that the word says that we share in the sufferings of Christ ? We suffer and partake in the Lord’s sufferings .
It’s an honor to suffer in this life . It has the power to lead you so incredibly close to His heart. It allows you to have great empathy for others once you surrender your life and heart to Him. He gives you a huge amount of love towards others.
He will give you joy as you draw closer to Him. He also states in His word that as you draw close to Him – He will draw close to you. There are so many promises in the bible . You can stand on the word of God. It is supreme. It STANDS . It RULES. The word of God is the LAW of heaven and earth.
Whatever your struggle is , He and His word are your answer.
First repent of all of your sins and draw close to Him . Begin to speak His word out of your mouth. Find scriptures that apply to your situation. Whether healing or deliverance of some type. Speak it every day -many times a day. Forgive your enemies and Love them. Pray for them to be blessed and to enter into a solid relationship with Christ where they take on Jesus ‘ personality. pray that they will renew their mind through reading the word of God. Pray for your enemies like you would yourself. Sincere prayer and intercession on their behalf.
God will begin to change things in your life little by little. Some things happen through time….sometimes more time than we would like. Remember we share in the suffering of Christ but He gives us Beauty for our Ashes. He pours in love where there was hatred.
Remember God loves you , but we have to truly, love God with all of our hearts .
Jesus equates loving Him , with our obedience to Him.
Jesus’s teachings
In John 14:15, Jesus says, “If you love me, keep my commands”. Jesus taught that love and obedience are inseparable.
God loves you and I am praying and interceding for you today.
Dear Jesus, please help those who are suffering today. Please help those who are still enduring the flood in western North Carolina. Please protect their children from bad agencies and trafficking. Please protect them from the elements. Please help them leave and move to a safe place. Please give them warmth and shelter and most importantly
your love and salvation. Please bring the world back to you and a sincere and humble walk. Please send revival Lord to our souls and to our land . Please cause people to turn to you Father. Please bombard them with dreams and words from you Father. Please send conviction . Strong Holy Ghost conviction to our hearts where they have been hardened in this life. Please show people all it takes is an obedient relationship with you. To heal the sick to do the works that Jesus did. Please move the hardest , most stiff -necked of people. Cause them to come to you. Cause us all to surrender all to you Lord Jesus. Protect the hurting from their abuser. Whisper your words to them today. Intervene in every plot of the evil one and turn it all for your Glory and for your creations good.
Lord Jesus please help and encourage the ones who are hurting this day. Help them to hold onto you forever and to not let go. Fill the emptiness with your Spirit and joy in Jesus’ mighty name we pray , and Lord please forgive us for where we’ve failed .
