God bless you all dear brethren in Christ. I had this dream on September 22, 2021. In it I was in the patio area of a big house that was not mine, but a close relative’s. I was walking around picking up the fruit of what I had planted. This is a recurrent event in many of the dreams the Lord gives me. I’m constantly being shown picking up the fruit of things I have planted, many times I have planted them way before, and the fruit is frequently shown in an unnaturally overgrown state. This time I was harvesting from the many vegetables and fruits I had planted. These fruits and vegetables in my dreams represent the gospel and word of God; the good news of salvation ready to be shared to feed the souls of many.
This time I was picking a wide variety and large quantity of it and offered it to passersby and bystanders. People would stop to contemplate and sometimes admire it, but would reject it even though it was free. Some people looked interested and impressed with the variety, but would not take them. I saw some fruit and veggies were getting past the ripe stage and was worried they wouldn’t be good for consumption for much longer. I felt very sorry they wouldn’t be consumed.
At some point I even began to give people ideas on how to use them for cooking and tried engaging them by talking about their flavors, but people would stop, listen, smile, and keep on walking. I couldn’t believe people were not taking advantage of this. In the dream I knew we needed to be ready for when famine finally came. I understand this represents not only physical, but spiritual hunger and famine, when the word of God will not be available.
After a while I entered the house of this very close family member. This person has a very sweet tooth in real life and always asks me to bake her cakes. In the dream I began baking her a cake. She wouldn’t take her eyes off the whole process and spoke about eating it with ice cream. I thought it was too much sugar and ‘sweet over sweet’, but I knew that’s the way she ate it. Then, I began to talk to her about the importance of being ready for the upcoming famine. In real life this is a topic I have talked with this person many times and she has not heeded my warnings to get ready. She has even mocked me about it. I have learned to not take these things personally. People’s eyes have been blinded these days and being oversensitive about people’s reactions does not advance the kingdom of God.
In the dream though, she took me to a place in the house to show me a big room that was closed with a key. She wanted to show me how she was getting ready for the difficult times. I got very happy thinking she had finally paid attention to my warnings, but when she opened the room I realized that the huge room was a freezer and it was packed with 5 gallon buckets of ice cream. There were dozens of them in many flavors and I felt the intense cold standing in front of the door. I asked her: Is all this ice cream? She then began to mention the flavors and stepped in, pulled a chair, served herself some ice cream, and began eating it inside the freezer! In real life this is a person who really dislikes the cold and I could not believe she was in there eating ice cream. I then told her: You should never get in there alone, because something can happen to you and you can freeze to death. I then stepped in to try to see the place, but had to step back immediately because I could not stand the low temperature. I could not believe she stayed and was happily eating her ice cream. End of dream.
Brief comment:
When I had this dream I thought it was only of a personal nature. God revealed to me this person is feeding and getting “ready” for what will come with the wrong kind of food. There’s a very popular menu of a false gospel being fed to people through religious venues and adulterated messages that satisfy people’s “sweet tooth”. It has been fed for so long that people do not realize the dangerous place they are in. So cold. So close to death. Sadly many of them have the real deal right in front of them, but they refuse to ‘eat it’ and tragically, there will come a time when the free gospel of salvation will not be available. People feeding on the wrong spiritual food will not have the nourishment to withstand. May the Lord have mercy on them. On those who have access to see, admire, and witness the TRUTH, but decide to reject it.
