July 26, 2018 – Slaughter of the Sheep
On July 26, 2018, I got the Chinese words 怒斬群羊 in my mind after waking up abruptly. It means to slaughter a flock of sheep in a fit of rage. The first thing that came to mind was Christian persecution. The word 斬 which I have interpreted as slaughter historically refers to execution and beheading.
April 3, 2019 – Heart Turned Black
I had a dream on April 3, 2019 which I found out 6 months later that it was the day of the first reading of the extradition bill that triggered mass protests in Hong Kong. Hong Kong has not gone back to normal since.
In the dream I was a student in an all girls boarding school, possibly in the UK. I was outside when a student walked by and asked if I knew my mother had died in a school washroom and her heart had turned black after she died. No, I didn’t know that. Then I remembered my mother had lived in China all her life and I had never met her, not even once! I knew which washroom the girl was talking about. It was small and dark with all concrete walls and no windows. Oddly, I didn’t go and check it out, and I didn’t ask school admin about it either. None of the school staff had ever come talk to me. They acted as if nothing had happened.
Then some time later another student walked by and asked if I knew my dad had died in a school washroom. I didn’t know that, and then I remembered my dad lived in Hong Kong and he was the one supporting me, but I couldn’t recall what he looked like no matter how hard I tried. I didn’t know whether his heart had turned black or not, or if he had died in the same washroom. I figured he had probably come to find out what happened to my mother. Again, the school didn’t say anything even though he was the one who paid my fees.
In my notes on this dream, I had scribbled a comment about the meaning of the heart turned black, that it might mean it had turned to the dark side to follow Satan.
May 20, 2020 – Where the Sting is
I got these Chinese words while waking up from a nap: 毒鉤在那裡， 神的使者也在那裡. It means where the sting is, there the messenger(s) of God is/are. The words for sting are the same as those used in 1 Corinthians 15:55-56 and Revelation 9:10.
July 4, 2020 – Numbers
I was half asleep when I saw 2 numbers in my mind. First it was one number, then before I could read it out loud, it jumped to another number. I had an impression it could be an exchange rate. I don’t watch exchange rates so I don’t know what’s normal and what’s not. Suffice to say I think it’s to do with fluctuations in the economy.
Feb 17, 2020 – Flood in Hong Kong
In this dream, I was standing in chest deep muddy flood waters in a room. I was told by God that we had to stop up the hole where water was gushing from because it would not stop on its own (in the dream I took it to mean the authorities would not do anything about it).
I had a feeling that the hole was close to where I was standing and I knew what was needed to stop it up, but both the stopper and the hole were under all that muddy water. I thought about feel around with my feet, but later concluded that I had to dive into the water. End of dream.
There is no mention of Hong Kong in the dream but I had titled it as flood in Hong Kong when I first wrote it down. Now I don’t remember why.
