I had a dream last night that we were experiencing a Chinese Red Dawn.
No electricity, no phones, food was scarce, I was hiding in basements and in anything that was underground with a small group of people trying not to be found by the Chinese Peoples Liberation Army. We were staying one step ahead of those who had conquered our country. Large cities were either destroyed (nuked), occupied, evacuated or abandoned. That’s all I knew through a portable ham radio. There was a lot of fear and uncertainty in the group and anyone we talked to. There was no expectation of a rapture only trying to endure to The End.
It was not fear of death necessarily more fear for love ones and what their condition was and not knowing or being able to communicate with loved ones.
There was always that deep peace that passes understanding and joy concerning our ultimate fate in the Lord. It’s kind of hard to explain.
