Dream: And the Door was shut! – Humbled for Service

I confess that Yeshua Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Beloved of Heaven and the Desire of all nations. It is He who was found worthy to look upon and to lose the Seven Seals of Heaven. He is the One who opens and no one can shut, the One who shuts and no one can open.

The night of Tuesday 29th January 2018, I had a short dream that I believe to be a warning message from the Lord, to admonish us to keep watching for His return. I would like to share it for the edification of the readers.

I was in my present dwelling, and I happened to look through the service hatch of the dining area to the kitchen window whose view is to the back of the house. At the very moment I looked, I saw someone pass by the back. I had instantaneous knowledge that it was a thief. I stood up and walked to the kitchen and opened the back door and stepped to the balcony. As I leaned forward holding the rail of the short balcony wall so as to check who had passed, the kitchen back door shut behind me.

I was very dismayed and felt such a great loss as I have never felt before! At that moment, I felt exceedingly foolish that I had left the safety of the house to go outside where there was a thief. With a lot of anxiety, I grabbed the handle of the door and struggled to open it but it wouldn’t. But again I got special knowing that the door had shut irretrievably never to open again. I struggled with the door with such anxiety and heartache, and feeling a great sense of danger.

The dream ended and I woke up.

(Brethren I believe now I know how it will feel to be left behind in the rapture. It will be such a terrible grief. The Lord says in Matthew 24 that the entire world will mourn. Oh Lord prepare us for your coming!).

There are two bible scriptures that came to mind that morning:

Gen 7:16 “… and the Lord shut him in”

Matthew 25:10 “… those who were ready went in with Him… and the door was shut”

Relevant Scriptures:

Job 33: 14 – 15

Joel 2: 28 – 29
