Don’t Give Up
Walking on the narrow path is not easy. The attacks from the enemy never cease, and in many cases they are severe and even vicious. The Lord reminded me of a Word that He spoke to me about 15 years ago, and it is always true:
“The enemy has come strong against you because of my love for you”.
I am sure many of you can relate to this as you have been hanging on for dear life sometimes, wondering if maybe the Lord is angry with you? I have. In such cases remember that the many times the devil has tried to destroy you or your loved ones…it is because of His great love for you.
Over the last weeks I received the same Word from the Lord three times, indicating that things will get much harder in the future. This is the Word and the exact dates I heard them:
03/12: DON’T GIVE UP
04/09: DON’T GIVE UP
40/30: DON’T GIVE UP
Recently, Alexfiga from Portugal shared a dream where it was a matter of life and death not to give up until the crossing of the finish line: “A big snake, bigger than a big Anaconda, comes running towards me to eat. So I run and run, with all my strength and always thinking. – Don’t look back, don’t look back… Very close to the goal I think, it will swallow me up, I will not succeed, but I reach the goal”.
When I was a teenager I had a similar dream. A T-Rex that was about 2-3 times bigger than the one in the Jurassic Park movie was on a mission to kill me. I was running away, hiding behind cars and wherever I could find shelter – very similar to the actual movie. This giant T-Rex was coming after me and destroying everything in its path. Imagine the old Godzilla or King Kong movies where buildings and cars were destroyed if they were on the path of these monsters. At some point I was in a more open field with no place to hide, so I was running as fast as I could. Just about the very second it was going to get me I was taken up into the air, beyond the reach of this beast. I had this dream at least 2 times.
Both dreams indicate a time that is coming soon, very soon indeed, where God’s children will need to dig deep to reach the finish line, never giving up and always trusting that the Lord is with us.
We all have received individual callings. It does not matter if you are called to go home early because of a disaster, if you are to be martyred, if you are among the remnant gathering the harvest or if you will dwell in small Christian communities surrounded by God’s hedge of protection, regardless, we are called to persevere, endure to the end, never give up and keep our eyes on the finish line, for there awaits a crown of righteousness and everlasting life in paradise. The apostle Paul went ahead of us:
2 Timothy 4:6-8 (KJV) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
So please pray also for all your brothers and sisters in Christ, that ALL OF US will endure to the end:
Matthew 10:22 KJV “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved”.
