Are you under a CURSE? Here is how to break it! – Elizabeth Marie

DREAM:

On 4/11/23 I had a prophetic dream. In the dream I was outside, in the front of my house. There were two little children with me, that I did not know. I told them that they needed to go home.

Suddenly, they both turned into TWO BLUEBIRDS that sat on the lawn. I carefully picked each one up, and then forcefully threw them in the air, one at a time. They started flying away, but then suddenly boomeranged right back towards me….. and then landed in the nearby bushes.

I knew that I had to pick them up, and try again, in order to send them far away from me. END OF DREAM

INTERPRETATION:

I love bluebirds, so, at first, I was CLUELESS to what the meaning of this dream was…..though I knew it was prophetic! I prayed, and when the LORD showed me, I was shocked! I heard this:

“CURSES”

In the Bible, we see that BIRDS can sometimes represent CURSES……notice that this verse likens a BIRD to a CURSE…..just like in my dream!

“Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an UNDESERVED CURSE does not come to rest.” Proverbs 26:2

When we walk closely with the LORD in humbleness, obedience, and repentance, a curse does not have the RIGHT or AUTHORITY to attach itself to us. However, there are many times that we let our defenses, and guard down, which can make us spiritually weak. Or there are times that we are walking ‘in sin’ or ‘in the flesh,’ instead of the SPIRIT. It is then that our Spiritual Armor is no longer secure….. or even on! This leaves the OPEN DOOR for the enemy to come, and start harassing in various ways. This is when a ‘curse‘….such as a WORD CURSE can land upon you!

In my dream, TWO CURSES had been sent to me that I needed to get rid of. They came through an unknown, and unlikely source…..the children. In real life, this often happens……those around us, who we least expect, can be the source of word curses ….knowingly or unknowingly. We can even place a curse on ourselves by the negative words that we speak. Remember that that DEATH and LIFE are in the POWER of the TONGUE! (Proverbs 18:21)

This calls to be wise as serpents,‘ in order to be able to detect when someone has insulted, condemned, accused, or criticized you. These word curses need to be dealt asap, through proclaiming the WORD of GOD, and doing spiritual warfare.

There are not only ‘word curses’ that can come against us, but also generational curses, witchcraft curses, as well as curses that can come from sorcery, voodoo, incantations, spells or magic.

In the dream, when I tried to get rid of the birds, they left for a moment, then came right back again. There is a principal in the Bible that once demons are cast out, there needs to be a cleaning, and indwelling by the HOLY SPIRIT, so that they don’t come back again. Matthew 12:43-45 This principal show how important it is to continue to WALK in the SPIRIT and HOLINESS, and continue to keep ourselves FREE & CLEAN from all demonic sources.

This means that we need to do DILIGENT WARFARE when we suspect a curse has been placed upon us….. and not to take it lightly! We must remember that any demonic forces, in the spiritual realm, need the POWER, AUTHORITY and FORCEFULNESS of the LORD JESUS to be casted out. They do not just leave politely!

HOW TO GET RID OF CURSES:

Once you have identified the source, and the kind of curse that is harassing you, then you can start dealing with it.

STEPS TO TAKE:

1) Pray and ask the HOLY SPIRIT to come to direct, and help you. Ask for HIM to reveal any SIN that needs to be confessed or OPEN DOORS that might have been opened. Confess all known sins, including renouncing any sin of witchcraft, rebellion, or any involvement in any kind of occult.

2) Humble and Submit yourself before the LORD…..and get right with HIM before engaging with ANY Spiritual Warfare!

3) Forgive all those who have offended, or hurt you…..and then BLESS THEM verbally in the name of the LORD! We are to BLESS OUR ENEMIES….or those who come against us! (Luke 6:28)

4) Plead and claim the BLOOD OF JESUS over you, and all that belongs to you.

5) Use your SWORD, which is the WORD, to PROCLAIM, DECLARE. AND COME INTO AGREEMENT WITH THESE VERSES:

Isaiah 54:17

Prov. 26:2

1 John 1:19

James 4:7

Galatians 3:13

SAMPLE PRAYER TO BREAK OFF CURSES: (this is an example/outline to use….feel free to add or subtract, as the LORD leads)

I am a child and servant of the MOS HIGH GOD. My body is the TEMPLE of the MOST HIGH GOD. I am submitted to the LORD JESUS. I have been given ALL AUTHORITY over ALL the power of the enemy, to trample upon the scorpions and serpents and nothing shall harm me. (Luke 10:19) I take that AUTHORITY that has been give to me, and trample, break off, resist, repel, rebuke, permanently disable, and declare null and void ALL CURSES that have been sent to me, in the AUTHORITY of the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, and through the power of HIS CROSS & BLOOD.

I invoke, declare and proclaim James 4:7, that says: “Submit yourself to GOD, and the devil HAS TO FLEE!”

I also invoke and declare Matthew 18:18, that states whatever is LOOSE on earth, shall be LOOSE in heaven. So I now LOOSE and RELEASE myself, as well as break and cut off, all curses spoken against me from any tongue. This includes all condemnations, all accusations, all bad feels, emotions, revenge or retaliation against me!

I also invoke and declare Isaiah 59:17:

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”

I now stand on the WORD OF GOD, and proclaim that JESUS died on the cross and became a CURSE for me, so that I may partake in the BLESSINGS OF ABRAHAM, according to Galatians 3:13. So, I now I take the curse of ___________________ that has been plaguing and harassing me, and nail it to the cross of JESUS where it is rendered permanently dead, and useless.

I also command any demons that have attached themself to this curse to FLEE NOW, in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS…..and go into the pit, or where JESUS tells you to go. I have closed all doors, so you are now ILLEGALLY TRESPASSING! You have no place or right in my life, and must go now & permanently!

In the authority of the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, I now PROCLAIM AND DECLARE that I have been set FREE by the BLOOD and SACRIFICE of the LAMB OF GOD! I am NOW FREE INDEED! (John 8:36)

END WITH PRAYER:

Heavenly FATHER, LORD JESUS and HOLY SPIRIT, thank you for the authority that you have given me to wipe out all power from the enemy, including all curses, witchcraft, sorcery, and Jezebel spirits!

I now come before YOU, and ask, HOLY SPIRIT, for YOU to come, and fill me in all the places that the enemy has tried to destroy or defile me. Fill every ‘nook and cranny’ of my body, mind, emotions, soul and spirit with your love and presence….and help me to WALK in SPIRIT at all times!

JESUS, thank you for dying on the cross for my sins, and for your PRECIOUS BLOOD. I plead and claim the BLOOD OF JESUS on me now. Thank you that I have become an over-comer by your BLOOD. (Revelation 12:11) I also thank ,and praise you, dear LORD, for the work that was done on the cross on my behalf!

Heavenly FATHER, I now ask for your blessings to now be upon me, and for your favor to surround me as a shield!

THANK YOU SETTING ME FREE!! I praise YOUR HOLY NAME!! Your alone are worthy of all praise, honor, glory, wisdom, power and might!! In the mighty NAME OF JESUS CHRIST! AMEN and AMEN
