Dan 7:21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. Dan 8:10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. Dan 8:11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. Dan 8:12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. Dan 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. Dan 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
My son, do you grasp the uniqueness of this time? Of this special generation? Many times in the past, as my people rebelled against me, I would raise up a wicked ruler, a wicked nation, to execute judgment on my people and my land. Yet I would always do so in response to sin, in response to disobedience, to make my people turn away from their idols and back to me.
But now, at the end of all things, the situation is changed. Whereas in times past my people were generally protected from the wicked when they walked in obedience towards me, in the scriptures above the counterfeit savior is being given power over the obedient saints to make war against them, and to overcome them.
You say, how can this be? Does not my word promise blessings, peace, and protection to those who follow me with a pure heart, in love and faith?
Yet even as my mature ones have learned through personal trial and tribulation that my individual will can sometimes seem to contradict my general will, so it is now. Yet there is never a contradiction, only a lack of comprehension of the full counsel of God. Were the trials of Job a contradiction to my promises for the just? Have all my martyrs experienced a contradiction to my promises for my obedient ones? Or is it that my people refuse to accept all my counsel, and only pick and choose what seems good to them?
In this fallen world, an epic tale is unfolding. There is victory, and defeat. There is joy, and sorrow. There is gain, and great loss. There is suffering and woe, but eventual ultimate victory. Like all great stories of faith and heroism, there is a climax. When all seems lost, something unexpected and spectacular occurs to snatch victory out of the jaws of defeat. When the counterfeit one, the man of sin, seems to of stamped out all opposition, and rules unopposed as prince of this world, so shall I return to rescue my body, my bride, and bring utter destruction to the deceiver.
Yet until that moment, do not look for success and victory in Babylon. Sin must run its full course. The mystery of iniquity must be allowed to be fulfilled. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
My people, I have called you to a hard thing. This is why there is such a sense of urgency in your spirit. No man is coming to save you. Yes, many will be raised up to fight, and they will inspire many, but ultimately they will not succeed. They will serve as another test of your fortitude, your endurance, and your perseverance. Will you continue to seek me with all your heart, regardless of what prayers I choose to answer? Will you continue to press into a deeper intimacy with me, as your world narrows all about you, and people fall away on your right hand and on your left? Will you continue to cling to the promised of God, regardless of what your sense may see and perceive?
Now is the time of the great battle of this age. There will be many casualties. Every lying deceit has been unleashed. Each one is meant to expose hidden sins of the heart. Ensure that there are no hidden sins in your heart, lest you too be deceived by the next lie and are also carried away.
To those who have seen and understood my ways in judgment, take courage. Know that your sorrow and great trials will not go unrewarded. Continue in my secret place, and you shall always find the strength to persevere. Stray not off the narrow path. Now is not the time to go chasing after some new thing. Stick to the full counsel of God and be not led astray be fearful men who are looking for an easy deliverance from this present darkness. There is no easy path ahead, but there is always grace and mercy to help in time of need (Heb 4:16).
