A Great Murrain Is Coming

a word that the Lord gave me yesterday (Wed.6/21/23)
Greetings in the mighty name of Jesus Christ to all the Saints of God. This past Wed. 6/21/23 I was outside walking and praying for about half an hour, or so. After I finished, I walked in the back door, and into my kitchen, and I was thinking to myself: “The Lord just cannot allow all of this wickedness going on in our nation to continue….He must do something soon, because His integrity is at stake!” Several seconds after I thought this to myself, right as I laid my sunglasses and cap on top of my microwave, the Holy Spirit spoke the following five words to me: “A GREAT MURRAIN IS COMING” Many times when the Lord speaks to me, he will do what I call “put his signature on it”…..meaning he will use words that I normally NEVER use, such as the word “Murrain.”
To my knowledge, I have NEVER used the word “Murrain” in speaking, or in my thoughts in my entire life. (this is why I firmly believe this was a word from the Lord) As soon as I heard this word in my spirit, I thought of the book of Exodus, and sure enough, I found it in Exodus chapter 9 verse 3. In the KJV, Exodus 9:3-4 states: “Behold the hand of the Lord is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain. And the Lord shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children of Israel.”
What I found very interesting is that the 1611 KJV refers to it as a “VERY GRIEVOUS MURRAIN”, yet the 1537 Mathews Bible, and the 1560 Geneva Bible refer to it as a “MIGHTY GREAT MORAINE”….both ancient translations use the word “GREAT MORAINE”, which is exactly what I heard in my spirit! Young’s Analytical Concordance describes “Murrain” as “pestilence, plague”, as does the Strong’s Concordance. The Interlinear Hebrew-Greek Bible describes “Murrain” as: “a heavy pestilence” Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary describes “Murrain” as “an infectious and fatal disease among cattle.”
The Complete Word Study Dictionary Old Testament says the following in regard to the word “Murrain” (The Hebrew word for “Murrain” is “deber”, a noun meaning plague or pestilence.) “This plague is a dreaded disease similar to the bubonic plague in the Middle Ages. It was likely carried by rat fleas and produced tumors on the infected person. 1 Samuel 5-6 describes the plague on the Philistines as a punishment from God. The word (murrain) is also used as the most dreaded threat of the Lord against his people. (Lev. 26:25; Num.14;12) The prophets use this word frequently to predict coming judgement and destruction as in the common phrase, sword, famine, and plague. (Jer. 21:9; 38:2; Ezek. 6:11 NIV)
From this information that I listed, it does appear that a “Murrain” can not only be on animals, but also on people as a judgement from God. This appears in Exodus 9: 9-10, as the Lord sent “a boil breaking forth with blains upon man and upon beast.” (The 1560 Geneva Bible refers to it as “a scab breaking out into blisters upon man, and upon beast.” In considering all of these judgements in the book of Exodus, the Lord also brought it to my attention the judgement in the book of Revelation, (Rev.16:3) where “There fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshiped his image.”
The commentary notes in the 1560 Geneva Bible tie these plagues listed in the book Revelation, with judgements listed in the book of Exodus. Dear Saints, I do not know how, or when this word that I was given will start, but a “Great Murrain” on our cattle and other animals will only increase the famine conditions and food supply shortages, that even the secular media speak of now on a daily basis. A pestilence like this breaking out on our cattle etc., would be bad enough, but if it also spreads to humans, our nation will be in for misery beyond belief.
We must pray daily to be led to our own personal “Goshen” and be shut in tight with the Lord. (Not exactly a happy thought, but something to consider….could this coming “Great Murrain” possibly be caused by radiation sickness, due nuclear fallout upon man and beast, after a nuclear exchange with Russia and China?) Dear Saints, please prepare yourself spiritually, but also physically, meaning have an emergency food and water storage plan. The four horsemen of the Apocalypse are now galloping straight towards us. The proof of God’s great love for us is that He does still warn his servants in advance of coming judgements.
I believe that He has warned me, and I am now freely warning you, as a watchman of the Most High God. Do not be fearful of these rapidly approaching end-time events. Expect miracles in all the coming calamities….we serve the same God that Moses served! If the late David Wilkerson were still here with us, I firmly believe that he would look out over his pulpit and say: “Dear Saints, Let these five words settle into your hearts….GOD HAS EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL.” May the Lord God Bless and keep you safe through all of these end-time tribulations and trials.
