Earthy experience is designed with each individual in mind. Not every person will take the straight and narrow road. Many need coercion (punishment) and prodding to get them on that road, for many have been lost for years.
They take routes that bring them into sin. Whether that sin is drugs, alcohol, lying, theft, unforgiveness, gluttony, or fornication out of marriage, they continue on these paths making excuses for why “their sin (s)” is (are) permissible.
I guide them the best I can, but free will has always been available to my children. It is up to them to change those behaviors which will eventually (hopefully) get them on that straight and narrow road.
I love all my children immensely and hope they find their destination soon.
