Worried, anxious, confused, distracted? This Word from the Lord could also be for you.
I have allowed myself to give in to anxiety and my mind to remain distracted. The enemy seeking whom he may devour often does this to us – keeps us focused on things that are of the world. He clouds our mind, fills us with worry, and can make us physically ill if we are not staying close to the Lord. This is how I have been feeling lately – very ill. My mind clouded, my thoughts confused, worried about my loved ones and what is coming. Tonight, I could not sleep and was urged in spirit to get up and grab my pen. And He comforted me this night.
“I have waited, longing for you to come to my feet daughter. No excuses. I wait for all to do so. As Mary did. She chose the good part. Martha was busy with worldly things. Be not busy and troubled with worldly things daughter. Come and sit with Me and hear My Voice. Learn My Ways from My Word. My only desire for you is to find Me in everything for I AM your beginning and your end. I AM where you will find rest from all things. No worry or stress can abide in Me. Come to Me, lay down beside still waters. In Me you will find comfort from the ways of the world. I will never leave you nor forsake you, my child. Honour Me with your word, your actions, your time. Worship Me with your whole heart. Give Me your everything and I will guide your path, making it straight. Without Me you feel lost and alone, do you not? Remember, I AM always with you. I AM in you. Even when you are feeling alone. Do not listen to the enemy. Hold fast to My Words, daughter. He has nothing I n me, so he has nothing in you. He has no power over my children who rest in Me. Consult my Word in all things. Listen for My Voice. Do all according to My Will. Pray for guidance. You shall receive it. My angels have charge over you to keep you in all your ways lest you dash your foot against a stone. I will show you the path, the way you should go. Do not look past today. I have tomorrow in the palm of my hand. The wicked shall perish but the righteous will have everlasting life with Me. Do not worry about tomorrow.”
And that was that. He addressed everything! Seek HIM NOW. You will find HIM. Trust in HIM alone.
