Word: And Now Why Are You Waiting? Arise And Be Baptized! – Humbled for Service

I give praise to our Lord God almighty Yeshua ha’ Mashiach, Jesus Christ, whose ways are higher than our ways, and thoughts higher than our thoughts. Who began the good work in each and every one of us, and is now looking to complete it even unto the Day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I received this word audibly for the Lord at the beginning of January 2019 in a stern warning and a very harsh tone:

“Get Baptized or Get Lost!”

Last night during prayer, the Lord brought into remembrance this word and asked me to get it out immediately.

The Lord is requiring many now to fulfill this requirement of righteousness by getting baptized. What the word of God tells us about baptism implies the full immersion of the body in plenty of water; like a river, a pond, a swimming pool, etc. And I believe, the baptizer and the receiver of baptism must both get in the water as is seen with the apostle Philip and the Eunuch, and also John the baptizer in the river Jordan.

I urge us all to seek the Lord regarding this word, to find out if it does apply to you individually. This included those of us who already have the gifts of the Holy Spirit (see Acts 10: 44 – 48).

If this word applies to you, wait no further; arise and get baptized.

Relevant Scriptures:

Matthew 3: 4 – 6 Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey. Then Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins.

Matthew 3: 11 – 12 “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Mark 16: 16 “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”

Luke 3: 21 – 22 When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”

Acts 2: 38 – 39 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

Acts 8: 36 – 38 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?” Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.

Acts 10: 44 – 48 The Holy Spirit Falls on the Gentiles

While Peter was speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered, “Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days.

Acts 22: 16 And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Romans 6:1 – 4 What shall we say then? Shall we continue to sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Ephesians 4:4 – 6 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

1 Peter 3: 21 There is also an anti-type which now saves us – baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers have been made subject to Him..

Many blessings brothers and sisters!

From Nairobi – Kenya,

Your brother in Christ, William.
