I woke up yesterday morning a little after 2am. It was time for my devotion. I was completely and utterly worn out. My body was physically emptied of energy, as it took everything within me to grab my pullover woolly jammies at the foot of the bed. I drudged out of the bedroom and into the living room to open my bible and begin my scriptural studies. I started my prayer and as I closed my eyes, still extremely heavy with sleep, I saw a vivid blank back drop with what appeared to be multiple blotches located all over the covering. It was not completely covered, but the blotches, that looked like droplets of ink, were numerous and all over the area, yet not completely covering the back drop. I started with ,
“Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus Christ, Have mercy on my soul, forgive me of my sins, and wash me clean in the blood of Jesus, My Lord and Savior, and Your Son, purify and cleanse me from all sin, with your precious blood Lord Jesus, and fill me with your Holy Spirit. Grant me the mind of Christ, which is the mind of God, which is unfathomable, that I may do the will of The Father and hear ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant.’ Keep me close to you and save me from sin, satan, and myself as we close these last days. Do not allow me to stumble or fall, but keep me close to your heart.”
My physical eyes were still closed as the blotches slowly started to disappear from the back drop seen behind my eyelids. As I closed the prayer the back drop illuminated brightly as now there were no blotches to be seen. The brightness was increasing so much that I thought a light had come on in the room and I opened my physically shut eyes to nothing but the pure darkness of the room because I had turned on no light. There was darkness, but I was without spot, wrinkle or blemish.
It made me remember a conversation I had with a firefighter just a day earlier, as he made a statement “nobody is perfect, we all sin.” I questioned him, ““How do you plan to make the rapture then? Did not Jesus say He’s coming for a bride without spot, wrinkle, or blemish? ” I refuted him with scripture stating that it was Jesus who said “Be ye perfect, as your Father in heaven is perfect”, if Jesus said it, then it could be done. Did not Paul say “Pray without ceasing?” That was a mistranslation. What Paul meant was we need to stay in a “state of continual repentance, praise, and worship”, repenting of our sins continually as we praise and worship our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus that keeps satan and all evil spirits at bay. Once you realize this, it is a matter of YOU doing your due diligence of focusing on your relationship with The Father, then you will leave no room for sin.”
There were no comments after that.
I smiled as I now began my studies completely alert and eager to read, and giddy that He gave me a visual of my cleansing.
