On 10/5/26, while sleeping, all night I kept hearing these words over and over again:

“THE ASSYRIAN VS. THE EUROPEAN”

When I woke up, I immediately knew that this was in reference to the FINAL ANTICHRIST and the ‘who’ and ‘where’ he comes from!!!

I had heard about the ‘THE ASSYRIAN’ before, but knew nothing about the significance of it and had never studied it until now, after I received this ‘word’ in my dreams.

I found out that ‘THE ASSYRIAN,’ in the Bible, is referred to, by many, as a FORESHADOW of the last day ANTICHRIST!

However, most Evangelical circles believe that the ANTICHRIST will come from the former ANCIENT ROMAN EMPIRE which is revived. But there are also other Scriptures referring to THE ASSYRIAN which could also provide ‘HINTS’ of the COMING ANTICHRIST.

In this Blog, I have ‘DUG’ a little deeper into both possibilities:

IS THE ‘SPIRIT OF PUL’ AN ANTICHRIST SPIRIT?

While researching the word ‘THE ASSYRIAN,’ from the Bible…..I found that it is referenced SEVEN different times.

While the term, ‘THE ASSYRIAN,’ seems to point to a KING of ASSYRIA, it also seems like there is ‘more to the story!’

While the Bible mentions the names of several Assyrian Kings, there is one that seems more prominent —Tiglath-Pileser III, who invaded Israel and put them into captivity, while expanding his Assyrian empire significantly.

THIS IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING……because there is a Scripture that associates this KING Tiglath-Pileser with a spirit…..the ‘SPIRIT OF PUL.’

I tried to find out more about this strange ‘spirit,’ but found nothing substantial. However, I did find it odd that the most prominent KING OF ASSYRIA is associated with some strange spirit mentioned in the Bible. This could all be related to THE ASSYRIAN:

“And the God of Israel stirred up the SPIRIT OF PUL KING OF ASSYRIA, and the spirit of Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unto Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, unto this day” 1 Chronicles 5:26

Who is this strange SPIRIT OF PUL? Is it a reference to THE ASSYRIAN…..is it a foreshadow of the ANTICHRIST….or SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST??

THE ASSYRIAN:

The Assyrian Empire (900-600 BC), which no longer exists today, basically covered FOUR modern day countries:

N.W. IRAN

IRAQ (parts of)

N.E. SYRIA

S.E. TURKEY

In Scriptures about how THE ASSYRIAN tries to destroy Israel. Notice, in the two verses below, that this ASSYRIAN is not referred to as a country or Empire…..but a PERSON.

“That I will break the Assyrian in My land,
And on My mountains tread him underfoot.
Then his yoke shall be removed from them,
And his burden removed from their shoulders.”Isaiah 14:25

“Therefore thus says the Lord GOD of hosts: “O My people, who dwell in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrian. He shall strike you with a rod and lift up his staff against you, in the manner of Egypt.” Isaiah 10:24

There are also other places in the OLY TESTAMENT that mention THE ASSYRIAN, such as Isaiah 10: 20-25…… however, Micah 5:5-6, speaks of a future invasion of Israel coming by way of THE ASSYRIAN……who ultimately gets defeated by the LORD, who protects HIS remnant. (Micah 5:6-15)

“And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.” Micah 5:5

WHY IS HE CALLED ‘THE ASSYRIAN?’ Of course, the most logic answer would be that he comes from a territory that once belonged to the ANCIENT ASSYRIAN EMPIRE .

THE EUROPEAN ANTICHRIST

There are quite a few Scriptures, especially in the Book of Daniel that suggest that the ‘LITTLE HORN,’ aka the AC, will come from the Mediterranean area or the region of the Ancient Roman Empire. It has been said that, in the last days, this Empire will be restored into a revived Roman Empire.

In Daniel 2:40-43, there is a FOURTH and FINAL KINGDOM that represents the Roman Empire.

Also, in Daniel 7:7-8 there is a FOURTH BEAST with 10 HORNS, which correlates to Revelation 13:1…..where the BEAST comes out of the sea with SEVEN HEADS and TEN HORNS.

These HORNS, in Revelation 17:12-16, are identified as 10 KINGS, who have not received their kingdom yet….and when they do it will be for only an hour. These are the same KINGS that destroy MYSTERY BABYLON.

Out of these horns will come the LITTLE HORN—which is in reference to the ANTICHRIST.

THE ASSYRIAN OR THE EUROPEAN…..OR BOTH??

From studying the above Scriptures, we can see TWO possibilities of where the Antichrist could come from…..or his origin. His roots might be from one place…..but maybe he grew up somewhere else.

It seems that the two territories or areas that are the most ‘hinted’ at, or ‘clues’ are from either the Ancient Roman Empire….or the Ancient Assyrian Empire!

HOWEVER, while ‘digging deeper,’ I noticed something very interesting!

The ANCIENT ROMAN EMPIRE and the ASSYRIAN EMPIRE actually OVERLAP in THREE modern day countries:

IRAQ

SYRIA

TURKEY

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?.

First, we must remember that ENDTIME PROPHECY is centered around Israel. This means that the ANTICHRIST comes against Israel to try to destroy and anniliate it (Luke 21:20)……much like THE ASSYRIAN that is spoken of in the Old Testament.

While many are guessing where and who the ANTICHRIST is or will be…could they be looking in the wrong places!!

Could it be someone with Middle Eastern Roots, that lives in Europe….or possibly the other way around?? Obviously, there are a few different scenarios!!

PRAY for further revelation and understanding as the REVEALING OF THE ANTICHRIST is near!
