Where do you go when you think it can’t get any worse…..and it does?

Where do you go when you think it can’t get any worse…..and it does?  We have gone from sheltering in place to lockdowns to riots and rage; to proposing defunding or disbanding police departments. When you look around and all you see is anger and rage, stupidity, hatred and hopelessness; what do you do then? A word from the LORD is always a great place to begin: the LORD tells us; ‘It is well with your soul, be at peace, trust in the goodness of your God. Know that I see, I know, I understand and I make all things new through JESUS Christ My Son – your Saviour. All things whatsoever you ask, believe you receive them and they shall be yours. Fear not – doubt has no place in the heart of My children.

JESUS is The Light of the world, there is none other. All other light is artificial, a cheap imitation of what is real. Do not allow the imitation to cloud to blur your thinking. Do not allow what is cheap and tawdry to overshadow what is costly and precious.
We think we’re ready, we think we’re prepared, but are we?  God leads but do we follow, He speaks but do we hear?  The following I received April 5, 2020; ‘quietly they move among you; they stalk around in darkness lurking about unnoticed, often unrecognized, undetected. The powers of darkness prowl around like a roaring lion seeking those they may devour.’ He admonishes us to pray, to listen to lean to learn. He warns us of times of testing of hard times to come, He says fear not; but still there remains doubt, fear, panic and despondency in the hearts and lives of millions.  Like a mighty army My church must move. Satan is at work among you, and you My church, must work while daylight remains, the darkness will overshadow all that is good if My people continue in rebellion, unforgiveness and strife. Rest [find your peace in Me] trust Me. Be about the business of witnessing, spend time in prayer and preparation for the days are evil.’
written in the mid 1800′ ~ as relevant today as then:  ‘what a friend we have in JESUS, all our sins and griefs to bear. What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit, oh what needless pain we bear all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer. Have we trials and temptations, is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged, just take it to the LORD in prayer.
