And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? (Lk 6:46).
My son, you are wondering why the word of the Lord is not forthcoming as it once did. Why the frequency has lessened.
Wonder not. Has there not been enough warnings? Has Canada, has America, has the west, has the church not received enough direct commands to clean up their acts? To stop sinning, and start submitting? Submitting to my ordinances, my precepts, my instruction? Exactly how many ‘warnings’ shall be given? Is it not time that at some point, each person, each tribe, and each nation must choose to walk in the light already given?
You notice that many in the church are not interested in studying the word. Rather, they search for the latest prophecy and the latest dream. They are like the people of Judah in Jeremiah’s day, people who ran after the false prophets who prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed (Jer 23:25). Try to instruct those people with the meat of my word, and they quickly flee to the one who tells them of visions of angels and heaven and revival and blessings to come.
My people, why will you not hear? Why will you only listen to those who prophesy fluff and fairy tales? Is not my word to be as a hammer, breaking up the rocky soil of your hearts? Have you not been warned enough? Do you believe that any lull in my judgments on your lands means that my favor is restored and all is forgiven? Unrepented sin is never forgiven. I paid for all unrepented sin, but what good does that do for the unrepentant man? Shall my blood save those who refuse to obey?
My church, you have the word. While your houses of worship have been corrupted with the compromises and cowardice by those who say they are shepherds but are not, those who read my word have no excuse. How many bibles do you need before you begin to truly walk in them? How many warnings of judgment does it take before my people fall on their faces and cry out to me, not in a momentary emotional outburst, but because the Spirit of the Lord has truly cut to the quick? Or shall you be as most of the sheep – foolish and silly, running to the sound of water and to the smell of pasture, not realizing a hireling is leading them and not a true shepherd.
My word says that my sheep know my voice, and a stranger they simply will not follow. Do you truly know your shepherd? Are you hearing the genuine voice of God? If so, you will stop running to the soothsayers and the psychics, who masquerade as ministers. You will flee from the charlatan, and run into the arms of your Lord. But if I am Lord, then faith and obedience go hand in hand. You will pray, and not lose heart. You will fast, when I tell you to fast. You will deny self, in any and every area that I instruct you to.
My people, to the word and to the testimony! Quit looking for the next strange thing, the next wondrous portent. Whether short or long, whether today or next century, occupy until I come. If you are truly mine, does it matter if I call you to serve down here, or up above? Are you not mine, to do with as I will?
Settle it in your hearts to serve me, come what may. It is not for you to know every little detail of what comes next. It is enough that you know the time and the season. The season is one of judgment, and the time is one of getting ready. Do what you know to do, and you shall please your master. And if there is anything that you lack, come to me in all humility and sincerity, and I shall provide that which is lacking. Whether wisdom, or strength, understanding or peace, the treasures of heaven are reserved for my people, my true sheep.
