Since the late 1850’s, organized crime has plagued Chicago. “Second City” (now third due to Los Angeles’ growth) was originally built over a swamp. The great fire of 1871 killed 300 people and burned for 36 hours. Currently, there are over 100,000 gang members divided into 60 factions who reside there.
The musical group “Obelisk” is a sign of the impending judgement on Chicago. The Obelisk is a five piece progressive death metal band from the city. Their song “Subterfuge” portrays Satan’s mocking of all of the lost people of Chicago who will fall into Hell as the city is destroyed.
