Wax Stronger – Matityahu Yeshuva

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
1 Peter 1:18-18
Dear brethren, it is truly time to leave your past behind. Leave the sinful nature of your flesh at the door, and turn away completely. Now is not the time to be playing with sin, in mockery and rebellion against the Lord. If you have unrepentant sin, you know what it is. Repent now, and turn away completely. Turn not back, knowing you were bought with the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Do not call yourself a Christian if you are living in sin. You are a lukewarm believer, but no Christian. This I say to you, who have the Lord in your mouth, yet He is far from your hearts. Do not rebuke the Lord with your stench of sin, remove your covering of filth and put on the armor of glory.
The sin you are dealing with right now is not hard to turn from. With God’s help, and God’s grace, you can turn. Turning away from sin means you want to live Holy. You cant have it both ways. You cant have the cake and eat it too. Is entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven such an easy thing? Is the Holy God of the Universe who created all, knows all and sees all so easily pleased? Is your sin not wicked and disgusting before the eyes of a Holy God? Jesus didn’t die for you to sin. Jesus died to pay the price of your sin.
Wax stronger in the Lord I say, and stop being weak in Spirit. Wax strong in the Spirit, and weak in the flesh. Remove your flesh ye evildoers and cleanse your hands ye sinners, walk upright before the Lord. You will be judged, as the line is being drawn. Repent now before it’s too late, before the Lion of Judah comes and takes your life.
