Voices are silent

John had been saying to Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife”Mark 6:18

Voices are silent. Fearing repercussions; market place, academia, athletics, voices remain quiet. Free speech has died a slow death in America. It took time, it took a society of compromised, indifferent, apathetic spoiled citizens demanding to be heard at the expense of God and country to sell the nation into bondage. It took time for the church to crumble, for the government to pass legislation legalizing sin, for men to embrace and adapt to ‘that’s the way it is.’ It took time for men to drift further away from God; but time passed, the church faltered, the government garnered more power and control and the citizenschoose to accept laws directly opposed to God’ Word rather than draw a line in the sand and take a stand. The wicked, in the haughtiness of his countenance, does not seek Him. All his thoughts are “There is no God.” The church acquiesced to the world system, becoming a harlot rather than a haven, the government became more amoral and deceitful. American patriots took a stand often sacrificing home and health only to be met with ridicule and false accusations, soon became silent. To the pure, all things are pure but to those who are defined and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good deed.

John the Baptist spoke up against evil. John refused to remain silent, refusing to accept the corruption, the sin he took a stand and it cost him his life. American’ have refused to take a stand; accepting the laws, the lies, the fraud they plow furrows of resentment and hostility deeper and wider. America now stands condemned before a Righteous and Holy God; Do not be deceived,  God cannot be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return. The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will receive eternal life. With hearts filled with shame and regret we must see what is before us; The star-spangled banner no longer waves o’er the land of the free and the home of the brave, repent and take a stand for truth.

  1. These are Truthful reflections of our demise, as our heads hang low in shame as we are smitten with the reality of truth. We have failed God.

John the Baptist spoke up about the sin of marrying a woman that still had a husband alive. That is sin and the church is full of this sin; which is called sexual immorality.
Most christians are very accepting of adultery just not homosexual sin which is, also, sexual immorality. Weird, huh?
Jesus spoke up about adultery in Luke 16:18 “Everyone who divorces and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries one who is divorced from a husband commits adultery.”
The vast majority of churches actually allow divorce/remarriage. Everybody who divorces and remarries claims their spouse committed adultery first. And they claim the supposed ‘exception clause’ in Matthew 19:9, which isn’t really an exception clause. First, divorce was only allowed for men and second; adultery was a stoning offense. Once the spouse is dead, remarriage is legal. That exception clause is for incestuous marriages, same-sex marriages, and adulterous marriage (spouse still alive) and for fornication (premarital sex). Joseph was going to put Jesus’ mother, Mary, away for fornication.
So those claiming the exception clause are actually committing adultery and everyone is very hush hush about this sin. But not so with same-sex marriages. Also, Jesus said to turn the other cheek but never repay evil for evil. Adultery is evil and Jesus would never allow adultery under any reason. That would be repaying evil for evil, which Jesus taught against.
Christians are called to abstain from sexual immorality or loose their santification ; 1 Thessalonians 4:3 – For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality.
Oh, church, you have left your first love and without obedience to the Lord, you, church are no longer under His headship.
Churches submit to the Lord Jesus and obey Him, otherwise, He is not the head of the church.
