VISION OF A JESTER AND A POPE – Stephen Hanson

(I decided to repost these two messages from five years ago, as I see the importance of them coming to light in the near future.)

Peter the Roman

March 13, 2013

(The Lord had me hold off on this word and wait to send it out. I received this message before the new pope was elected. We now see someone who doesn’t “appear” to fit this description. However, give it time, and we will see more clearly. )

13 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? Rev. 13

The Lord told me that the next pope may not go by the name of Peter the Roman but he would “do” what he would do. He would “act” the way that Peter the Roman would act. He would set himself up to hate all the Protestants.

He will be filled with the spirit that comes from down below. He will be a man that doesn’t follow after others. He will make his own rules after his own mind and heart. He may start out in glory, but he will end in fury. For he will take up his cause against many. He will hate those of the Protestant faith. Watch and wait, for all these things are held in secret.

(The spirit of the Lord showed me the new pope dressed in garments of gold waving his hands, but he was traveling upon a dais of some sort going around, while people were honoring and praising him. These people were bowed down as if praying to him, but many then were going into their graves, as if dead.)

The pomp and circumstance will commemorate him, but his glory comes from another source. This pope, this man, is truly the last one. He is the one that will speak from another power, from another source. And then the long lineage of the popes will come to an end.

VISION OF A JESTER AND A POPE

12/19/14

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed” (Revelation 13:11-12).

About a year and a half ago I was given a word about the new Pope who was to elected, and now again, the Holy Spirit is speaking about this. Much may seem good about what he has done, but I believe there are subtle things at work here.

(The Spirit of the Lord showed me a vision of a man climbing a staircase. This person kept climbing the stairs and I noticed that at first he was dressed like a jester with a hat that had pointed projections like a person like this would wear. As the jester continued up the staircase, it was winding upwards, and finally what was once a jester-like figure now took on another appearance. Now the figure had a much different hat, it was the type of hat that a pope would wear. It was somewhat rectangular in appearance, but at once I knew this person to be a pope.)

The Lord then said,

“What seems to be something of nobleness, is shrouded in secrecy. For the man who would appear to do so much good for humankind, is actually a representative of the enemy. For don’t be fooled by appearances, a one world religion is his aim.

For he would take control of the world’s religions. He would seemingly wear the robe of humility but his heart is not humbled in this regard. For whoever would wear the robes of this office must know that there have been centuries of abuse.

For who would sing praises of him? I came into Jerusalem riding upon a donkey and palm branches were laid upon the road, but the following week I was ready to be crucified.

No one upon this earth is worthy of this praise. I tell you that soon you will see prophecies fulfilled. For the world’s stage is set for its final actors. The one doomed for perdition is yet to make himself known. But the formulas are set in motion. The world’s stage will soon be set in motion for these things. For blasphemous oracles will come forth–half-truths shrouded in the garb of humility. For surely, an end to pomp and ceremony is needed, but unifying all religions into one is worse. He who would rule these things would join forces with a political figure. A millennium of smoke echoes out of the Vatican’s walls. But what was the true color of smoke on that day?

The true one that was to reign several thousand years was my servant David. He was the last true king after my own heart. Now the garb and the vestments have changed, but the heart is deceitful.”
