Unexpectedly during prayer, I began to strongly witness a great earthquake. What could be stated as a vision, was as real to me as though I was living it.
Now living near New Madrid Missouri, I personally believe that our Lord is forewarning about a Mid-American earthquake.
I am staying before Him in this matter. I only heard one word- “WATCH!”
What I saw and experienced in Prayer, took place late last night.
Having some very early morning responsibilities, I finally began to wholly seek the Lord hours later. At that time, my thoughts were afar from what I previously saw and heard.
As I sat at my desk and asked Jesus to direct me in His Word, I again saw the quake!
What I want to share with you is my Bible study on earthquakes.
Wherever we look up all of the Verses about any given subject and take them together, we will SEE God’s Interpretation of any issue in life.
He leaves NOTHING for the opinions of man!
Truly, Scripture Interprets Scripture!
Oftentimes the first reference of a topic in God’s Word, bears definitive meaning that’s foundational. It’s to be built upon “line upon line.”
The first mention of an earthquake in the Bible was during the reign of the first AHAB.
The lesser known AHAB was a false prophesying king of Israel who was executed by Nebuchadnezzar.
-Jeremiah 29:21
The famous AHAB was also a wicked king who introduced Baal-worship.
He died in battle.
-1 Kings 22:35
Now the name AHAB means “uncle.” It’s original meaning is plural- as in “brotherhood.” AHAB was literally related to Abraham and his posterity. Ahab being a false brother, and a brotherhood devoted to destruction, became a nemesis against true Prophecy.
What’s very interesting is how the initial account of an earthquake corresponds to how God devotes PSALM 82 to define the spiritual cause of earthquakes!
Exactly like the first encounters with the wicked king Ahabs, God states that the Earth’s foundations are out of their courses due to wicked leader’s perversions of justices.
“The rulers do not know nor do they understand;
They walk on in the darkness of their complacent satisfactions;
All the foundations of the earth
and the principles of the administration of justice are shaken.”
Psalm 82:5
An Earthquake-
from the original language – “SEIMOS” means a tossing temptest. It’s to undulate, forming waves from constant risings and fallings of inconsistency.
It’s to cause trembling fears of commotions and confused noise.
God’s people are meant to express The Liberation from earth’s curse / sin, as true sons of The Living God!
That Freedom in The Power of His Spirit, becomes threatened wherever His people put themselves under counterfeit authorities!
Wherever we seek His Righteousness and His Holiness, we have His holy Authority in Power!
Wherever His people look towards WORLD-remedies, they’re weak, without foundations, and reliance is upon flesh- not Kingdom Power!
Throughout Scripture, God foremost warns that false prophets and all false-light, will always promote the EARTHY instead of the DIVINE!
That great-reversal and imbalance of foundations spiritually, manifest physically!
Jesus Christ came unto His own who recognized Him not! They rather sided with wicked rulers and wanted a murderer to go free, and they wanted to watch our Lord get crucified!
There, a great earthquake took place!
Wicked rulers are “EARTHY.”
“Earthy” from 1 Corinthians 15:47:-49 means UNCLEAN. It’s the image of the First -Adam, that forms chasms and voids and vacancies.
Political leaders were initially the JUDGES of the land. Throughout Psalm 82 God Speaks a contrast of wicked leaders and the world’s courts, in comparison with His High Court of Heaven!
These rulers were meant to wear Godly Authority.
Instead, He says they became their own “gods!”
God sarcastically speaks to
the world’s unrighteous rulers who call themselves “gods,” and that portray themselves as “gods” among His people!
Even amidst ancient times, it was difficult to find a national leader who had any notion of Justice and who didn’t take bribes!
God continues to give very specific warnings in Psalm 82 that these masquerading magistrates who accept the counsel of wicked persons, are themselves corrupters too.
Wicked rulers crucified our Lord and the early Church resisted their ungodly laws before they too were martyred!
God honored the witness of the midwives in Exodus who defied civil authorities and preserved the lives of the unborn baby boys.
IF Christ’ own earthly parents would have submitted to civil law, Jesus Christ would have been killed as an infant!
It is SATAN who has ever twisted the Scriptures pertaining to civil rulers!
Every anti-Christ spirit has ever erroneously spewed about submissions to civil authorities!
Read Romans 13 along with 1st and 2nd Peter & Jude!
There’s no contradictions!
God speaks of spiritual, divine order and a FIRST submission to Himself- The Word of God!
EVERY instance regarding Earthquakes-
reveals the fact of SATAN ruling an imitating-EARTHY kingdom!
GOD speaks about the corruption of world governments under the Roman-Babylonian Empires!
GOD’s viewpoint about civil and world leaders is clearly that of a futuristic Promise that –
” And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”
Revelation 11:15
Does anyone really believe that GOD would tell His people to blindly promote and submit to world leaders exactly when the #666- The Mark of The Beast, the worst persecutions ever, and the peak of DECEPTION, is becoming fulfilled in Bible Prophecy?
It is GOD Who censures the earth’s leaders throughout His Word!
Where The Lord Speaks of honoring civil-authorities, He states to do what is morally right and to uphold justice!
There’s no contradictions!
This is so IMPORTANT NOW!
Study this in the Bible for yourselves!
God has EVER rebuked and warned about the Prince of The Power of the WORLD ruling the kingdoms of the earth in DEMONISM!
The FEW godly leaders mentioned in the Old Testament, held office BEFORE Christ came in the flesh! There are NO godly world-leaders of The New Testament!
Satan was cast down falling like lightening to temporarily rule the earth in fury! God poured out His Holy Spirit to Empower His own believers EXACTLY when they would need His Power the MOST!
It is the DEVIL who rules a satanic-world government!
That world power shall cease unto when the kingdoms of the earth become the Kingdoms of our God!
That world power ceases it’s controls in the lives of God’s people who rise up in His Spirit of Adoption and LIVE IN HIS POWER!
It is GOD Who offers us His own Spirit in Power from on High, to rule over those “WICKEDNESSES IN HIGH PLACES!”
LOOK at the earthquakes in The Book of Revelation!
In Chapters 6, 11, and 16
Earthquakes denote revolutions;
stars falling from heaven typify the downfall of kings and dynasties; and corrupt dominions!!🏹
Earthquakes-
A great earthquake occurred when they crucified our Lord!
That earthquake preceded great revival in the outpouring of The Holy Spirit!
So it is now!
Revelation- The Sixth Seal:
Expository Bible Commentaries:-
“And I saw, when he had opened the sixth seal, there was a great earthquake.”
In the sixth seal, then, was a great earthquake: this is that very last persecution.
“And the sun became black as sackcloth of hair.”
The sun becomes as sackcloth; that is, the brightness of doctrine will be obscured by unbelievers.
“And the entire moon became as blood.”
By the moon of blood is set forth the Church of the saints as pouring out her blood for Christ.
13. “And the stars fell to the earth.”
The falling of the stars are too, the faithful who are troubled for Christ’s sake.
“Even as a fig-tree casteth her untimely figs.”
The fig-tree, when shaken, loses its untimely figs — when men are separated from the Church by persecution.
14. “And the heaven withdrew as a scroll that is rolled up.”
For the heaven to be rolled away, that is, that the Church shall be taken away.
“And every mountain and the islands were moved from their places.
Mountains and islands removed from their places intimate that in the last persecution all men departed from their places; that is, that the good part will be removed.”
Earthquakes – are about foundations that weaken.
What takes place SPIRITUALLY and what is believed in the UNSHAKABLE TRUTH,
is ETERNAL REALITY.
THE GREAT SHAKING AMIDST GOD’S PEOPLE
IS THE GREAT GULF OF DISTINCTION BETWEEN
THE UPWARDS CALL OF LIVING IN HOLY KINGDOM POWER OF THE DIVINE,
AND THAT OF A VAST MAJORITY WHO RETORT BACKWARDS UNTO BECOMING EARTHY, PROMOTING MAN’S INGENUITIES AND SOULISH-POWERS OF DEMONISM!
We’re living among the the GREAT DIVIDE of all ages!
One Verse comes to mind within this ALL!
If we will commit to keep our minds stayed upon Jesus Christ Himself and this Verse too, then we shall overcome!
Romans 8:2
“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”
~ My thoughts, this Morning, turned to Jesus Christ as THE LIFE.
HE is THE TRUTH!
“LIFE IS IN THE BLOOD!” When what Christ Accomplished in The Cross is Revealed –
-THERE- we are lifted above ALL of Earth’s pulls, THERE we are transformed!
LIFE IS IN THE BLOOD! The Gospel is Simplicity! Look upon the most basic foundations of life.
As long as blood continues to flow throughout our physical bodies, we live. Because of the circulation of our blood stream, we breathe!
Likewise, as long as The Precious Blood of The Lamb is Revered in our hearts, we ABIDE IN HIM, IN THE LIFE!
As long as our hearts Worship Him for what He Accomplished through His Shed Blood poured out on our behalf, we are NOT bound to the elementary forces of darkness!
As long as our hearts bow in love in witnessing what His Crucifixion has accomplished for us, we have His Blood literally Speaking over us and Speaking over our circumstances! !! HALLELUJAH JESUS!
