PRAYER: I came before the Lord Jesus and I humbled myself, submitting my heart and as Emma Stark said, “Wrestle with my heart, Lord and tear out all flesh and what doesn’t belong to me…”   I want to see clearly what You want me to see, hear clearly what You are saying and obediently move where You want me to go. I desire to walk out the kingdom of God in boldness and power with the fruit of the Spirit. Gal 5:22. Teach me Your ways. Thank You Jesus,  Amen

VISION: I was in the spirit and found myself travelling over a large body of water. I believe it was the Atlantic ocean. I came to a huge building completely engulfed in flames. It was a very large building and it reminded me of the cathedral in Paris, France. I understood in my spirit hat it was The Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

I had an aerial view- sometimes I’ve called it a bird’s eye perspective – where I was approx less than a 1/4 mile away or half a km away.

INTERPRETATION:  This vision triggered a previous vision #87 seen in May of 2018 of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. I recall that not only was it burning but Jesus allowed me to hear the metal structure buckle in the heat and then it collapsed. It must have been a very hot fire for the metal to buckle and give way. Jesus said that the two visions are related. Paris will burn from something man-made. And God will use it for His purposes.

I asked Jesus about the Notre Dame Cathedral. It is such an old and beautiful building. But Jesus replied, “They know of Me but their hearts are far from Me.”   Matt 15:8. (He was  referencing Is 29:13.) Speaking to the Pharisees, Jesus said, “These people honour Me with their lips but their hearts are far from Me.” We know that Jesus is found in a relationship not in religious rituals and relics, traditions or man made rules and regulations. John 14:23 says “Anyone who loves Me, will obey My teaching, My Father will love them and We will come and make a home with them.” I LOVE that verse!

I also understand where there is veneration of relics, saints and even a building can lead to idolatry which competes for our adoration and worship of God. In Ex 20:1-4, the first three commandments God specifically told us that He is the only God, worship Him only and we are not to make anything in any form and worship it. Including the worship of what He represents.

The other understanding is that relics, items or people deemed sacred, can become good luck charms where people put their trust in the thing or person instead of God. This opens doors to demonic pagan practices like superstitions, amulets and talismans. It brings to mind the story in 1 Sam 4:3-5 where the Israelites put their trust in the Ark of the Covenant and treated it like a good luck charm instead of trusting God. They brought the Ark into their camp after they were defeated in a battle with the Philistines thinking the Ark would save them. And the story ended with Israel suffering a great slaughter and the Ark of the Covenant captured.

MESSAGE: Regarding Paris, in vision #87, Jesus said that, “Judgment is coming to this city. They must turn to Me and repent.” And He gave me the verse from John 11:25: “I Am the resurrection and the Life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die.”

I believe because of God’s great love, mercy and patience, He doesn’t just crush us all. As it says in 2 Peter 3:9 “For God is not slow in keeping His promises as some understand slowness but He is patient with us not wanting any to perish but come to repentance.”

Let’s lift up France in prayer, in particular, Paris that God’s spirit of supplication will fall and He would contend with every heart, calling every sheep back to Him. May they have a powerful encounter with Jesus, understanding the depth of His great love and mercy.  May they seek Jesus with all their hearts, be found by Him, come to repentance and grow in a beautiful relationship with Him!
